i think it's just an overall mentality Saban has and Miles doesn't... Saban molds his players mentally and has them prepared like no other in college football... Miles just sort of tries to teach them things and hopes they catch on....

whether, "niceness" has anything to do with it or not, i don't know, nor do i care... i don't care if our coach pisses in our players lockers or shits on their coats, if he can inspire them to play the the utmost of their ability EVERY SINGLE PLAY, that's all i care about...

the product that LSU has put on the field the past 2 season and the product that Saban's Bama squad has put on the field is far, far different...

The issue of whether we should be upset at not winning Championships is impacted by the determination of whether we have personnel capable of winning and coaches incapable of taking advantage of that ability. I have supported Miles and defended him since he arrived.No more. His offensive play calling has been really stupid at times.Example: bubble screen in the bowl game!!!!He had 39 seconds left,needed at least30 yards for a reasonable shot at a FG and no time outs.The ONLY plays that should be called in that situation get you a first down or out of bounds.You certainly should NEVER call a play that has even a half chance of being stopped in bounds or short of a first.Unforgivable. And that is not to say the play had to be successful or that we would have won the game.Who knows how it would have come out? I just know how it came out.AND now Miles has made it clear that he is going to keep the mastermind of the 112th best offense in the nation!His interview indicated he has some idea that the offense sucked and the coaches need to do better.Hopefully Miles and GC can make sufficient change to create a potent offense. I have my doubts.Go Tigas

NC ? LSU is lucky to have this guy as head football coach. He'll keep LSU competitive in the best conf in the country , that in itself is quite an accomplishment . The negative hateful personal comments made on this forum does'nt help
great prospects toward commiting to LSU .
