I love the LSU Tigers...and Coach Les Miles but I think he is way too nice of a guy with the team.

I totally agree with this in terms of thinking that the deterioration of the strength & conditioning program at LSU over the last few years comes straight from the top.

Mack Brown and Pete Carroll may be nice guys, but they demand performance out of their players. There is none of this "that's okay we'll get them next time" stuff. Sure, they don't necessarily lose their cool all the time like Saban does, but when a player messes up, they take the steps to correct the problem. With Miles, you get a pat on the back whether you do well or screw up.

I know this is the rant but can we just agree 2010 will be the year to make changes if needed. We play in the toughest league. Honestly, despite the coaching miscues, inexperience, injuries, etc. we were close to beating FL and B'ama and back in the show. 99% of the rest don't have our luxury s. We're 2 years removed from the Championship.

I don't find him to be any nicer than Coach Mack Brown of Texas and it is hard to argue with the success he has had at Texas. Same thing with Coach Carroll at USC, will not find a nicer player's coach in college football.

Brown was under heavy fire before his championship.Good recruiter bad coach label.
