IMO, you are reaching. I agree with you on FSU but not on OM or Bama.

The pick vs Bama was a quick slant and was tipped at the line. Hard to put that on the QB.

Vs OM, with 12s left we had a procedure penalty that moved it back to the 21. Ran a play (incomplete) and then another illegal procedure penalty that moved us back to the 26 from where we ran our last play. Would've been difficult but the pass could've been caught by Hilton. We only ran two plays, not three. Just hard for me at any level to blame JD for the loss.

LSU is starting an all out media blitz with Jayden’s stats for Heisman this week.

These same guys are going to be saying BK/Denbrock are holding back Nuss next year, when he's nowhere near productive. Book it.

You mean the way you Jayden cultists blamed everything but him last year? Sounds like you're a hypocrite and it's you that hates Nuss. Get a life.

You can look at it this way, also:
1. When your defense is bad and gives up points, your offense is under a lot of pressure to score every possession.
2. When you are behind in games, the other team know that you probably have to pass.

JD was the most electric player I saw this year, just a monster season for LSU’s whole offensive unit.

He quietly maybe had the greatest offensive season in SEC history even though they just never looked as dominant as the Burrow teams or the Tua/Jones/Young units at Alabama

Jayden Daniels is the FIFTH player in SEC history to account for 50 touchdowns in a season.

The previous four ALL won The Heisman Trophy.

Who isn't. There were a lot of us doubters, last season. But after the Arkansas game, I have seen no fan criticize Daniels.

Yep, this is what piqued my interest to see how his season compares statistically.

I would take Joe also but what Cam N did his year at Auburn was pretty amazing also.

I think I read somewhere that Newton was the only player on that offense to register a stat in the NFL.

Burrow had receivers who were at least as good, and probably better.

Burrow had 21 guys, OC and DC probably better. He'd have probably been kinda miserable with 2023.

An easy argument can be made that without the wins, it’s just not completely true

It literally can't. That's irrelevant to performance stats.

You can also look at it this way. Our defense was so bad JD had to stay in games longer and was on the field more. After our losses the pressure was gone. Also we weren't actually behind that often. The disparity between offense and defense allowed for the gaudy stats. This is similar to the Saints several years.

I've heard two very vocal one's - one Friday at the basketball game and one behind me yesterday at the football game. They both stuck by their guns.

Neither presented anything close to a valid argument but they were adamant nonetheless.

One I think was just an old country boy if you get my drift and so reason was out the window with him.

The other who I know better I think just planted his flag in the ground last year and I see this sometimes won't budge from a stance no matter how overwhelming the evidence is to the contrary.
