Always been my main gripe with Nuss

Nuss has always been afraid of getting hit, and gets up limping.

Joe and Jayden almost looked forward to a hit, and both popped up almost immediately even when blind-sided.

This is why Nuss always hesitates to run with the ball. DV away but I'm on-point here.

And BTW I'm not saying when he's been hurt. He's always been avoiding contact since he's been at LSU.

He’s definitely playing scared. I think the garbage Oline has him frazzled which causes his terrible throwing mechanics. His problem is way more mental than physical he’s playing with zero confidence

This also isn’t new to this year

His biggest issue has always been decision making and it doesn't seem to have improved at all.

I’m just sick of watching him throw off his back foot in situations that he could easily plant his feet.

With a smile on his face... and ready for the next play to come right back at you.

If he was any threat to run that would make this offense so non one dimensional.

He's been sacked 4 times in 5 games.

Yall acting like our OL is giving up 5 Sacks a game.

yes. I too think that all our QBs should play like the two best we ever had here.

I'm sure nfl scouts would even tell you he needs to stop throwing off his back foot and step up in the pocket.

He is someone handicapped with a bad o line and no running game. He can't scramble so everything is going to be much tougher on him.

Nuss has always been aloof and goofy imo. I don't see him taking football as serious as a burrow, Brees, or jayden. He has some Aaron brooks in him.

I was about to get on you until you said this. Truth is that Nuss definitely has something about getting hit. He always retreats backwards. Like straight backwards. He runs well before a pass rush comes close to him when all he has to do is step up in the pocket. He also has a penchant to throwing off his back foot. Couple that with the every game bone head double or triple coverage pass, and i get Jarrett Lee vibes. He panic throws a lot too.

Its sucks because when he is on, he is really good. The problem is he's the type of QB that needs everything going for him to be successful. He would have probably lit it up if he played for Bama during that time they had Tua and Bryce Young. Playing behind a dominant OL with a dominant run game.

Not sure I’ve seen many slower D1 QB’s. His first step is like waiting on Christmas to arrive.

No tigerfoot, I just want someone who can lead a team. When a QB gets blown-up and pops up like he wants to win, the team rallies around him. I just want a real football player at QB, not a soft guy.
