That is close probably. Just on the defensive starters tgey spent close to 12 mil. He has the best linebacker in the country in Jordan Rodriguez, the guy is a tackling machines and creates turnovers.

Morris and Key. Key would be a harder pull from his Alma mater

Nice ESPN.com article this morning on Eric Morris. I wouldn't be opposed; he'd have to hire a first-rate DC. The only concern would be whether he can win at the P5 level; LSU might view him as it did Sun Belt Billy.

You mean, is that the same Marcus Freeman that turned down a defensive coordinator job to be the head coach at Notre Dame.

Which any sane human being would do.

The thing that impressed me about Marcus Freeman was how he responded to the media trying to make it a big deal that he’s the first black head coach for Notre Dame.

Time and time again he just brushed it off and refused to take the bait. Does he come from a military family? Kinda has that vibe.

Freeman isnt the first black head coach at Notre Dame. Tyrone Willingham was the coach for 3 seasons from 2002 to 2004.
