Relax it is only good press for us. Thankfully ND is a bunch of crybabies and pretty much took the heat of Lane and LSU. Some of the OM offense will end up transferring in

It's fine. It gives Weis a chance to take the training wheels off and see what he can do against major competition without Lane. It also helps maintain relationships with their players

If anything, it will give them experience for when they come here and are in the playoffs next season.

Lane is more mature than people give him credit for- he does care about the players. Those coaches also want their bonuses- they should have demanded a public apology/acknowledgment to Lane and LSU from Carter that it was Lane who let them go back and coach

Let it be Lane Kiffin did the right thing . Those young men deserve the best chance at winning .

I was thinking that wouldn't there be animosity between Golding and all of the returning staff? Seems like it would be at least slightly uncomfortable.

To be honest I'm not sure this is such a good thing. Suppose Ole Miss goes on a hot run then you've got your entire offensive staff for next year hanging out in Oxford for over a month instead of being in Baton Rouge working with our team for next season.
Sure Lane is a great recruiter, but his assistants do a lot of the leg work as well and the Portal is going to be vital for LSU for next season.

See I'm torn on this. Watching the nerds win and gloat would suck, BUT the melt of watching om lose to the nerds would be legendary.

Sooooo

Does LSU get to hang a banner too if the LSU offensive coaching staff leads Ole Miss to a natty? If the roles were reversed, you know Ole Miss would try to.

maybe he wanted to have boots on the ground because someone will need to be there to coordinate the bus to bring all the players back with the coaches after they lose in the playoffs.

Layne/Laine/Laiyne/Layyyne/Lane wanted to coach the Rebels in the playoff. It's their own damn fault.

dumb way of thinking. This is perfect for LSU and Lane he gets to recruit for his new job while also having his loyal assistants in the building poaching the best talent ole miss has to offer. This was an absolute dumb move by ole miss and they might as well let Kiffin coach the playoffs.
Ole Miss would’ve have been better off letting lane finish this season for them, while no being able to recruit for LSU because of the playoffs.
