Was she the one randomly murdered at a railroad crossing in Baton Rouge?

Her murderer(s) is dead or in jail and we'll never know. That's my theory.

I wonder if BRPD has heard people talking on the street about who did it, but that person is dead and they'll never prove it.

Take it for what it's worth, but I'd heard they had some evidence, but just not quite enough to make an arrest. And no one will willingly talk and be labeled a snitch.

BRPD knows the answer is in the ghetto somewhere but they'd rather you just forget about her and stop asking.

So sad. Pretty young woman taken away from senseless violence...

We have a community problem that doesn't look like it's going to get fixed or any better any time soon. Culture, politics, and government dependency has bred this in a way that there is simply no going back.

I feel so sorry for her family still searching for justice and answers. Can only imagine their heartbreak and grief.

The reward money unfortunately did not come to fruition, I was hoping that would lead to an arrest. The ghetto knows who killed Allie, unfortunately those people stick by a stupid fricking code.

I like to think that her dad quietly hired some kind of punisher-type vigilante and that justice was served Dexter style.

Maybe that's why BRPD isn't commenting on it much. They helped him take care of it.

It's either that, or they're completely inept and fricked all of this up from the beginning to end. And now they'd prefer we just don't bring it up anymore.

This site has kids that have been or will be this age one day. There needs to be answers here. I've seen too many episodes of The Wire to not believe the cops have some ideas. There should be more pressure and motivation to solve this fricking thing.

Maybe we need a DA that can solve this one.

How could a DA solve the case, they don't investigate crimes. Belief is that it was a juvenile and they just didn't have enough evidence to charge. But the person who said that said culprit is in jail or dead is likely right.

I really wish we could just surround the ghetto and let the animals eat each other. You want a police-less area? Fine, you can have it. But you can't leave and terrorize other people who don't want anything to do with your ridiculous, pathetic, vile lifestyle and "code."

Bingo.

To the person who has blood on their hands, God has a place waiting for them.

BRPD isn't resourced like major cities and our crime problem is bigger than people realize because so much crime is unreported and unsolved. Baton Rouge used to be a decent place to live back in the day. Sad what this city has become and will continue to become as the problem has spilt over into neighborhoods across town. Take LSU's tailgating/brawl problem for example, the cancer will spread further and further as long as there is no spine from leaders.

This is such a bad take.

Nope. You see the truth of the matter is much much more hopeless than what you’ve listed because those things could, in some universe, actually be fixed. The real problem cannot be fixed and that’s what we have to accept.

Sometimes there isn't enough evidence to make an arrest.

Sometimes the suspect is killed and there is no more reason to spend more resources on a scenario that doesn't have evidence and the likely killer is dead.

How would you solve this crime?

Tell us.

Nobody has come forward as a witness.

Let me guess, you think BRPD should beat up some brothas until they talk? Ok, but we shut down the Brave Cave where they used to do that, remember?

Nobody is talking. No cameras. No motive. No witnesses. So HOW would YOU solve this?
