Johnson, I’ll give you. Jones was a .500 coach in the Sun Belt. He’s lucky he still had that job. You’re an idiot.

All this being said LSU is arguably the biggest sleeping giant in the country being the only major program in a talent rich state of Louisiana. I am 100% confident that as soon as LSU gets someone in charge who knows what he’s doing we’ll be back on top.

In hindsight Johnson and Jones were bad hires, but it's not like they were hired with shite resumes

This. Johnson had a great resume. Jones looked like a capable up and comer with hometown roots.

Johnson was a great x's and o's coach that couldn't recruit.

Johnny Jones was a great recruiter that couldn't handle x's and o's.

They were each halves of a very good coaching staff, but simply didn't make the cut.

I agree the Orgeron stuff was atrocious.

Where did I say I was happy about his tenure or even excited he got hired? I wasn't, dickhead

You didn't. Where did I say you did?

The hire was a gamble and wasn't close to the best option, I'm just saying Alleva didnt single handedly sink basketball like he has football

You said jones didn't have a shite resume. Literally the only thing in his resume that didn't scream shite was the fact that he played basketball at Lsu. If he didn't have that on there, he never gets considered. Just like he never got considered at any other major conference school. And you know why he didn't? Because he had a shite resume.

Play sum goo tigah footbah Geauxtigah

That’s either a push for stupid post of the week or a quote from the football teams head coach. I’m not even sure I’ve confused myself

It's basketball so it didn't get the hoopla, but the Ed hire was similar. The big thing for Jones was he hired good assistants and could recruit. Ed was sold on the same thing.

Now I don't think even Ed could completely frick up with the premier player, but looks like he won't be getting those either.

Geaux ,Jesus man go to bed you been bitching all day. Christ life is to short my friend , lighten up you going to give yourself a stroke. We will be ok . We haven't done shite in football in years under Miles so why you losing your mind over it. We had a good class believe it or not , we answered a lot of needs. Big uglies don't usually get all the stars that you apparently look for.

Joe Dean and Skip Bertman didn't hire Trent Johnson, quickly followed by Johnny Jones.

Who did?
