He needed to be public on Tuesday, Wednesday, or as soon as the announcement was made. He wasn't. He is a PR disaster.

If he did that, the national media would criticize LSU for being insensitive to what Florida is going through. The headlines would not be Florida fricked over LSU.

Just like they did with Miles.

Welcome to LSU

Um no. Apples and oranges.
And it seems lately that the people bashing Joe are the same butt hurt fans who love Miles.

and he had no issues this morning calling out UF AD and the SEC. Ballsy- I love it.

Can I get a quote or something? I didn't see anything other than him calling out Bret.

He didn't have to call them out for stalling. Just a simple statement that LSU will support Florida in this difficult situation by being flexible in their plans to either play in Gainesville or other locations.

Nothing major, but it would have brought attention to the fact that something needed to be addressed and Florida was stalling. Instead, he said nothing until 6:00 yesterday and now is having to go on local radio to call an ESPN reporter a liar after Florida has already set the story on this issue.

Jeremy Foley was supposed to already be retired, but he just kicked Alleva in the nuts and took his lunch money on the way out the door.

bullshite! He let them do this behind closed doors. He should have been giving interviews with every news source telling them what's going on, and possible places to play.

He gave them too much "privacy".

These motherfrickers are just like politicians. They think everything is so secret, then he cries foul when it backfires.

He's a dumb frick for not forcing the issue. It's as much his fault as it is UF

completely agree on this

SEC is the one being weak. UF had all the cards in regard to playing this weekend. If they thought for safety it was best they didn't good for them.

Now the SEC needs us to rearrange and potential cancel contracts. We hold the cards now.

Done his job well? Maybe. Done his job like he has supposed to and give people the normal expectations we are expecting, yes.

FU is to be blamed and ultimately Greg Sankey who had the power to force a move or a forfeit by FU.
And I'm calling for his dismissal

Sorry, late.

He said the SEC did nothing to move the needle. Basically said they were useless in this situation. Which is astounding.

He should hold a press conference today at lunch and say LSU is willing to play Monday in Gainesville.
No excuses, the storm is gone today and Gainesville will have plenty of time, 72 hours to make it happen.

I agree, except he should do it right now. No need to wait until noon. Call Greg Sankey, make the offer. Call Jeremy Foley, make the offer. And then call ESPN and tell them that neither Jeremy Foley or Greg Sankey are working to make this happen.

Oh get the frick out with that. Miles' issues the last few years were blatant.

I am 100% on board with Miles being fired.

It is also 100% FACT that both Miles and Alleva were/are blamed for everything that goes wrong, and everything that goes right is in spite of them in the eyes of this fan base.
