TL but will Miles supporters admit we were right when the same thing happens next year?

As a miles supporter i will support the decision to move on in a proper way if the deficiencies cannot be corrected this upcoming year. We will have an experienced team and an awesome recruiting class if we do not come away with at least a new years six bowl next year it will not be a successful season in any way shape or form and arguably the same could be said if we are not sec champions, but given les recruited this team from the ground up he deserves to be the one to lead this team whether to glory or defeat next year and then the athletic deparent needs to make a calculated and plan move for the future

All you little fellas out there remember to get your alllowance from momma so you can pool your money together and make your changes that you want so despertely that you would drag LSUs reputation through the mud to do it.

Good luck with that.

FYI, the powers that be are not trolling tigerdroppings using this as their decision making guide. As far as alienating current players it happens every year in college football, LSU wouldn't be breaking new ground by doing this.

Like Les Said "Just think, if we played McNeese we would have had a 10 win season"
Have to admit I cringe when Les is given the mic... when he says stuff like this, it reminds me of the type of play he puts on the field... disjointed and never sure what you're going to get... his diatribes are painful to listen to and on a bigger scale his teams are painful to watch. In both situations you find yourself praying for some logic at the end to tie everything together but you almost always come away confused and frequently disappointed in the final result.

It is called class.

While I do not disagree with the point, I pose some questions:

Would you use the word class to describe the process of Bama luring Saban from the Dolphins?

Would you or most fanbases tolerate the current productivity that Saban is currently returning as the result of the said classless transition?

I have fired people in my professional life who were great people but their performance was shitty. There should be no difference. Les is an employee. Nothing more.

It's a lot easier to find replacement burger flippers than Div. 1 head coaches. There are also more requirements to being a head coach than a flashy offense, ask Sarkisian, Kiffin and Petrino. Then once you find Mr. Perfect how are you assured the NFL doesn't come calling in two years. That's a lot to gamble $12,000,000 on when it's your neck on the line.

The original post perfectly encapsulates why I loathe some of the haughty, self-righteous Miles devotees on this board. Just a bunch of beligerent yelling unsupported by analysis, evidence, or thoughtful consideration.

He deserves a chance to fix things! Problem is he does not think things need fixing.

Funny thing is LSU was mean for firing miles for poor performance and now he is going to fire his friends for poor performance when he is tje reason for their poor performance! Cam for instance was a good coach until Les got hold of hm.

The actual fans who were in the stadium, and more than likely are always supporting the team in this fashion, spoke volumes as to the amount of support CLM has amongst real fans. Just curious & not necessarily a slam but wondering how many of the CLM's haters here attend the actual games each wkend? No doubt there are lots, but it would be a safe bet way less than those who choose to support LSU in the one way that matters, being there to cheer for the team.

The problem with a logical OP like this thread is The Rant has a small vocal group that constantly trolls the board with anti Miles rhetoric. A sizable number of these folks are not even LSU fans. The very large majority of members on this board have become tired of posting because if the negative trolls. I suspect many of the mods support the trolls because this is The Rant and they think being negative is good for the discussion board.

I did not see one Fire Miles sign at the game yesterday. The Real Fans of LSU have spoken loud and clear. Keep Miles and get rid of the AD.

Any fans continuing to criticize Miles moving forward are not true LSU fans. It's disappointing when a fan forum does not crack down on the constant negative posting we see. It's why so many fans don't post as much as they used to.

Here's to Les and his men winning the NC next year! It would be the sports story of the century if he can pull it off. I won't bet against Les pulling it off.

Les Miles is LSU to the core! He's given his life, his family and his soul to LSU.

Don't worry Miles said he finally understands that he needs to win more games { as if that 4.5 mil a year shouldn't} and when he was asked if the offence needed a major overhaul, he said no the motor isn't broken! We will be right back here in this same spot next year. But hey, he will get another year.
