1999 was the low point. This is not even close to that abyss.

Tell me how you stink at using hyperbole without telling me you stink at using hyperbole.

Let me guess you weren't alive during the 2-9 season or had to sit through the 58-3 game versus UF.

We spent the entire decade of the 90's just hoping for the Independence Bowl. This is just a transition year. It was inevitable once the decision was made to hire CEO.

Some folks need to back away from the ledge.

There has never been a team where the majority of people on the depth chart to start the season are not even in the city let alone participating in the game in January. It needs to be acknowledged.

USC would be a blessing right now. K-State plays some nasty football and will punch you in the mouth repeatedly. LSU will be in for a long night.

WRONG! The Tigers that take the field tonight will have my full and unwavering support. This is the closing of the last era and the beginning of the new one.

NONE , ABSOLUTELY NONE of us can truly understand the current state of affairs...we're not on campus, on the team.
Good or bad we're not gonna know about everything

I am supporting the kids playing like always, the point I was trying to make was the people in charge and fans need to acknowledge how bad the situation is.

All time? Nah. There was a time when the thought of LSU ever competing for a national championship was just fantasy. Being the underdog and taking the fight to more talented teams was exciting, people still showed up, and it was still loud as hell. That was when the stadium only held 72K. I'd rather have 39 guys that you would want on your foxhole than 85 'me first' candy asses. Geaux Tigers!

I lived through 6 consecutive losing seasons in the ‘90s, a 58-3 loss to Florida in 1993 and an 0-6 record in the SEC in 1983. LSU has a long way to go to reach the all-time low for this program. Some of you people think LSU started playing football in 2000. Do some research.

Good gosh. Some of you need to get a grip. An all time low would be opting out of the bowl rather than going into it with fight!

I've watched football since the late 60's. The Hallman years were the worst ever followed by Dinardo's last season. We're in transition and beginning the healing process. We have a great coach who has just assembled a staff. It looks like we may not have yet cleaned out all of the self-absorbed problem guys (I'm trying to be gentle in my language). Next year will probably be a lot like 2000 where the team may be a little overmatched and thin in some areas (possibly secondary, LBs and OL) but we'll get better, more disciplined, more team-oriented as the year progresses. We also have several more players we'll pull from the portal and new additions to the recruiting class. The bowl game just arrives at kind of a low transition point.

We shouldn't be where we are but that falls squarely on Orgeron. This is a predictable ending to his tenure. We all knew it was going to be ugly. Woodward and Kelly are doing a good job cleaning out the rot and building a new, solid foundation.
