And what about all the transfers who left? I don’t think these players transferring to LSU has anything to do with O. Lsu has openings and these guys can come play on a huge stage.

You can’t take everyone so naturally players find other schools that can take them at that time. Looks like opportunities to come home became available and there was mutual interest between both new staff and these LA players. Timing is everything.

the shirtless pics, blondes, and his awful record/coaching hires after the 2019 season make him look bad

I have not been impressed with the transfers so far other than the Penn State kid. Do you really think a couple of guys from ULL will help us compete in the SEC?

As long as the coaching staff believes they can play we have to have faith in them. And Frazier says hello!!!

Ed had you with an all American cb in ricks and an all sec caliber guy in mcgothern. You fire him week three. Lose those two and bring in average guys from Arkansas and USL. It is not a talent upgrade.

I'm afraid I have to agree. Sunshine pumpers on here will argue, but it's clear to me this is not what I had hoped for. How about we go get some of those bama guys that entered the portal recently?

How can you not grasp the fact that we have a brand new coach and staff and are now scrambling to get players.

No better way to do it than with LA kids who want to be here to start the rebuild. We’re just getting the build started. RELAX.

Garner has a higher draft grade and pff grade than all of our corners this year that played most of the time

Lacey was rated as the 2nd best WR in the state by 247 in HS. O took Koy Moore instead

O was a piss poor evaluator of in state guys here and instead would take marginal players from Alabama or Florida who would bust out

what you should be asking is do these players transferring possess the character Brian Kelly is looking for ? I don't believe the woke crowd will be admired with this coach as much as some of our previous leaders. And I think within 3 years we will play for a national championship.

It's like this everywhere. There's so many in the portal that a lot will be cooking at McDonald's instead of attending class and playing ball. That 85 limit will keep a lot of players from ever attending college again.

O did a first-rate job of that. No worries.

Between November, 2020, and August, 2021, Michigan State lost 27 players to the portal.

They added 19 transfers in that same time period.

Michigan State was not in the top 25 preseason.

They finished 9th in the post season poll.

Brave new world of college football.

LSU can do the same, only better. Maybe not this year, but in the next several years. Give the coach a chance.

IMO the Tax Slayer Bowl and the depth of the rebuild for our program has made O look bad.

Everyone is looking for someone to blame and blanket answer for each situation.

Each one of these transfers in and out are unique to the player. Has nothing to do with old or new. It's the players trying to better their status.

That's it. Nothing more.
