All pre-season, threads were constantly gloomy

Orgeron was bashed. Ensminger was bashed. There was no hope. People couldn't enjoy the Miami win more than a week because of the melt down after Southeastern and the line play. People predicting 8-4 or 7-5. Now that they lose one game, every one melts down and panics. What you predicted may come true and you still melt. That's what makes the Tiger Rant special.

They will bash the next coach

And how is this any different than the last coach?

If the next coach can convert his binder to web based app, then that will be a great sign that he's at least keeping up with the times.

Considering that miami almost lost to the dumpster fire in Tallahasee this weekend, Auburn will be at-least a 4-5 loss team once all is said and done,, we struggled offensively against SE LA, LA tech exposed our defense at home sending half the stadium home at half time, we beat the worst Ole Miss team of the century, then we lost to a rebuilding florida team. Coming off a season where we lost to troy. You expect us to be just fine and dandy huh?

During my first football season on this forum in 2004, people were making threads about how poorly coached the team was while struggling with Troy.
Nick Saban, Jimbo Fisher, and Muschamp were the coaching staff. 10 months removed from the natty.

Here's a thought, don't tell all of us predicting 3-4 losses that we "aren't real LSU fans" for 8 months next time. That way, there won't be any "told you so" responses from us.
Problem solved.

It's not. I'm just saying that all of these morons predicted a lot of losses yet still throw a tantrum when they get their prediction right. Battered women like

I warned that all of the "I told ya so" threads created after the wins would only make the threads worse if there was a bad loss. I think we should all wait to see what happens at the end of the season. The team looked good through 5 weeks, last week got outcoached badly. Hopefully better days are ahead.

You think anyone's happy about us being headed towards 8-4 or 7-5?
Obviously we'd all hope we're wrong, that we really are a championship caliber team and O really is a hidden gem but none of that appears to be true.
Sooner everyone realizes this, the sooner we can hire a real coach and get back to the road to prominence.

they can still go 8-4 if they get a few lucky breaks

You want gloom?
What happens if LSU doesn't win another game in 2018?

I wanted Miles gone and no extension. If you had any vision you could see this from a mile away. Jindal screwed that up and we lost out.
Then Alleva got his feelings hurt and we get screwed again.
It won’t stop until we get a PROVEN winner that will have us at least challenging for the division championship. There is no doubt in my mind that Miles would have challenged in 2017 and maybe even won it.
That would have made a difference in so many ways as far as recruiting.

This thread is a load of crap. You people invent every narrative imaginable to play the victim card.

so the losses should be acceptable just because they were predictable?

to the OP: are you actually watching the games, or just looking at final scores and declaring yourself happy that we're winning?
If you're actually paying attention and know what you're watching, you would've seen ample reason for concern.

This. If you objectively watched the first five games, the signs are there. It’s Oct folks, this has always been where we really find out what we got. And it ain’t looking good. Not bashing just fact.
