People are not upset that Alleva hired Coach O. They are mad about the contract that Alleva built for Coach O. We dont need to be paying this guy as much as we are. We could have gotten him for a lottttt cheaper, that is where the frustration is.

No, plenty of people were/are upset by the hire itself. The very fact that you think Orgeron is not worth his contract is a perfect example of that. A supposed top 4 SEC program/top 15 national program should not hire someone who merits a middle of the road SEC contract.
ETA: Orgeron was 10th in the SEC this year in terms of salary.
