This is an interview with the OC of the high school All-American team that was posted on YouTube 23 hours ago. EXCLUSIVE: All-American OC RAVES About LSU QB Colin Hurley.

Hurley won't turn 17 until March yet is mature beyond his years and held a 4.0 GPA in high school. After raving about Hurley, Matt Moscona asked the ALL-American OC coach Sean Salisbury what weakness Hurley needs to work on, and Salisbury seemed hard-pressed to find anything. Hurley studies hard, can make every throw, and illustrated his sneaky escapability in a 30-yard run.

Hurley is tough, smart, has thighs the size of tree trunks, and is a fierce competitor which in part is due to his military mom who showed up in her military attire to address the team at the ALL-American Bowl. Anyone who thinks Hurley will walk away from competition at LSU is nutz. Burrow and Daniels were that dude, this is the new dude.

I often wonder why posters were overlooking this kid and thinking that Underwood would just walk in and take the job after Nuss.
Hurley is a baller and will be tough to be out .

Their the same age and underwood is seen as the better prospect in their class. Were definitely sleeping on hurley because of early accuracy issues in his season, and his age. Every other part of him is what you would clone in the make up of a qb. Good problem to have if lsu gets both

Someone during JB’s Last season said Joe Burrow is”that Dude”. The guy you can count on to carry the day and win.

That seems too young to me. These are grown men. 16 and 23 are very different ages I don’t care how developed he is. He is still very young.

Maybe this will help. On ESPN the day after Joe Burrow smoked Clemson and smoked a cigar in victory, Stephen A Smith came on and apologized for picking Clemson over LSU. Steven A remarked “I didn’t realize Joe Burrow was “that dude”

Spears and other former LSU players on ESPN tried telling Stephen A during the 2019 season that Burrow was “that dude”. Stephen A felt the need to apologize for not seeing it sooner.

The guys who coach in these games get paid to coach and aren’t often coaches. They don’t trash the players afterwards. If they did, you think that would be a good or bad thing for future players?

Hurley is a 56% high school completion percentage guy with less rushing yards 10% of the career rushing yards Myles Brennan had in high school. Basically, Kids a statue in the pocket and had issues with accuracy. Him being 16 would lend you to think he’s go upside, but he’s more than fully developed.

Career backup, with ceiling being starting as a 5th year senior if things go perfectly for him.

True! Joe Burrow is The Big Kahuna, he’s the one quarterback you don’t want to face in a title match or in the NFL. He’s “that dude” you don’t want to face anywhere.

I still think he's up next. He has the physical tools and just needs the development in an offensive scheme. He'll sit for 2 years and be ready to lead.

Because they black and about the same size? He’s nothing like Jalen hurts. Hurts rushed for 1,391 yards and 25 scores as a senior. Hurley rushed for 177 and 5.
