Best part is they did a survey and part of that survery was thoughts on adding premium seating. From what I've heard, it was a resounding "NO" and they did it any ways. The people making the decisions need to be fired and made to personally pay to undo this crap.

Visitor bullpen is still in foul territory but now “protected.”

.that view makes it look like the foul ground warning track is about 50' wide instead of the standard 15'

No indications from any renderings but I’m hoping they make these additions “sunken” below field level (like the dugouts). The first few rows of OG seats still won’t be able to see crap.

Hope the sunken premium seating doesn't flood when we get rain.

Would be nice if they could replace the Glad-Bag Batter's Eye

Renderings vs construction plan layout seem a little contradictory.

$9,400 seems a bit steep unless maybe you're the first table or so next to 1st base and the dugout. I signed up on the waiting list to see what is available when they call.

Completely agree on the bleachers needing upgrading. Why hasn't this been done?

They should have moved the visitor bullpen either behind the bleachers in the left field corner where the playground is or the should have moved the auxiliary scoreboard board and made double decker bullpens in right center

so my 4th row seat down the line will now have a luxury seating area where people will pay a lot of money to stand up and socialize and not really watch the game

Don't forget the constant stream of waiters and waitresses passing in front of existing seats running the new "fans" their catered food and drinks the entire game. What a shite sandwich this "upgrade" is.

LSU is moving the visitors bullpen several feet down the foul into the corner. Conveniently located right where the visiting fans sit before post season play. How nice of the administration to do that for the opponents.

That’s not where they sit in the post season just the regular season.

If I'm not sitting in the grandstands, I'd rather watch it at home!

I think the right thing to do for premium seating would have been to add to the suites that we already have. Extend the suites, roof, and concourse down both sides.

“Field level” is all the rage in premium seating these days.

Get $100m in bonds and do a complete overhaul.

For that much, build a new stadium.

I think a big part of the problem is it’s hard to upgrade / expand / retrofit this stadium.

I love Skip but he screwed the pooch with how this was built.
