Skip Jewed the shite out of the Box.
The Credit Crisis of 2007-08 with the government bailout of many companies including Merrill Lynch put a damper on fund raising by Skip and caused many cut backs to be made in the construction design. Permanent seating was initially planned, if I remember correctly, for the complete stadium along with building all 16 suites during construction. Instead they had to make numerous changes, later adding 8 suites to the 8 originally constructed and postponing the Marucci Performance Center until later. A berm was planned but scrapped due to cost and time to satisfy the settlement issues caused by BR soil near the river. But time for major upgrades IMO now.

The TAF has the money for upgrades. Wonder why the AD does not consider. LSU baseball is the envy of the nation and the top program in the nation. Reward the loyal fans now

I have a feeling that now that schools are having to start paying players that facility upgrades (unless it's facilities for the players) are going to being pushed down the list of priorities.

Bathrooms where you won’t die from heat stroke
This! The bathroom down the first base side was like a humid piss cave all weekend. It had to have been at least 10-15 degrees hotter in there than outside, it was terrible. They have a fan in there that wasn't even turned on. How hard is it to vent a damn bathroom properly?

TAF may have money, but they will only make decisions based on maximizing the return on their investment. Like it or not, they will never "reward the loyal fans".
Converting bleachers to chairbacks will require a reduction in seating, which will increase the ticket costs, PLUS many people will need to be relocated to make it work.
A berm isn't my idea of a fun place to watch a game, but I like the look of them. The only place to put one is directly next to the student section and not the best location for a family-friendly area.

Not aesthetics but make the ball park fun.
Looking at some of the regional sites there was serious partying going on in the outfield areas while enjoying a game.
Keep the stadium as is for the “get a haircut” crowd make the outfield fun.

Dont have to worry about rain delays or cancelations anymore
It’s NOT the rain. It’s the threat of lightning. (Which I think is necessary but is over emphasized). Why not utilize lightning monitors like they have at golf courses indicate actual lightning strikes at a given distance and sound an alarm. I’ve been to lots of games where they continued playing in light rain.

ETA: bullshite delays on Friday were ridiculous.

I think Arkansas has it right...or close
A lot of it has to do with the area where the stadium is built..It is hilly in NWA so Arkansas had the advantage of digging into a slight hill when Baum was constructed. There are ways around that...Oklahoma State has a nice outfield area that they essentially turned into suites and also a full on bar in the right field corner. With the last expansion at Baum, outdoor box suites were added and also the Bases Loaded Landing...which is bar top type seating that will hold 150 fans.
As for OSU's setup..It is very nice...the larger roof in right field is their bar, full on with bartenders and what not...the orange roofed areas in the outfield are the "suites" they have equipped with grills, seats, etc. with regular seating below them down to field level.

A berm isn’t for comfort. It’s so in midweek games we don’t have empty bleachers, for big games like the upcoming Supers we can pack in more bodies, its also fine for the student section like Ole Miss, and finally Arkansas’s is fun bc you can bring in your own ice chest in that section.

1. Cover all the way down the field and chair backs.
2. Batters eye should be the same color as the wall
3. Relocate Bullpens to OF, you may need to reconfigure OF bleachers but I’d do it
4. In my opinion the maintenance facility should be relocated

1: Extend Suites and cover all the way down the lines
2: All chairbacks
3: SRO concourse behind outfield wall with concessions/beer booths
4: Get rid of that damn net high school batters eye
5: Do something different with our bullpen under the right field bleachers

The seating from the dugouts on needs to be demolished to the ground and built back up with multipurpose usage underneath. There is currently no away team locker room. You could also build the bullpen, hitting cages underneath the concourse. Build a club space that has access to opponent bullpen.
Concourses and suites need to go foul pole to foul pole with chair backs.
The outfield needs to be reimagined. You don’t need a berm, but you could build some permanent seating into developed green space.

I’ve gotten downvoted to high heaven because too many people continually accept mediocrity from LSU when it comes to facilities projects.
Alex Box was built with no foresight or plan for additional renovations. I know for a fact they had considerable renovations planned pre Covid and then money dried up.
LSU has never had a master plan when it came to athletics facilities, they’ll continue to move things to open lots and fields. That’s why Tiger Stadium looks different on every side and there will be a gaping hole if a new arena replaces the PMAC.
