Yeah, I'm definitely gonna have to take the wife there one year for a hike. Hell of an experience.

it seems awesome either that LSU fans are worldwide or that they travel far and wide from BR.

I got two Geaux Tigers my first day in Rome last week.

I was in Anchorage last week, saw at least 3 other Tigers within 1 hour of arriving at the Marriot. Tigers are proud!

Probably unsurprisingly there was almost as many LSU/Saints flags on the beach as American in Destin yesterday

Naples, FL has a lot of LSU fans at the moment due to O&G work going on down here. Most random place I've ever run into an LSU fan was the south of France. Some french guy had an LSU hat and told me Geaux Tigers

LSU Biology Dept does a summer "study abroad" trip at a local university/fishery near Anchorage every year. They are used to some drunk Tigers up there this time of year. My daughter went three summers ago.

Went white water rafting last week in Granite, CO with our group of 8 from LA. Had 10 other randoms and turns out there was another LSU grad in the bunch.

Checking in from Mongolia. I was going to make a thread "Where can I watch the Wisconsin game in rural outer Mongolia? TIA." But this is a good thread for this picture. My village is in the background if you can see it. I'll check back in when the players report this fall to stay up to speed. It's just going to be Hawthorne in a ger in the middle of nowhere this season. Pretty crazy. I'll post some more pics on the OT this summer if there's interest. It's beautiful here.

There is a really good Cajun resturant south of Anchorage on the Sewell Hiway. Those folks are from South La and it feels just like An LSU sports bar there.

Used to be a couple there. Gumbo House and Alligator Wharf. Also used to be one in Wasilla, not sure if it's still there.

Saw this at the parade in JNU yesterday.

I watched the Anchorage parade in Delany Park directly across 9th Avenue from the Gumbo House. They have a big red sign outside the restaurant. I didn't go in for lunch, though. Even summer in Alaska is too hot for gumbo!

I just moved to anchorage about a month ago and I have been really surprised with the frequency of P&G.
