Did you go to the July 4th parade there? I got a nice sunburn, and with my sunglasses on, I was left with the raccoon look!

My parents are in Alaska on vacation for a couple of weeks, and many of the pics they have sent back have been in P&G. I usually bring my LSU gear when I travel as well.

No I was just passing through. We were there for about 18 hours and we hiked flattop mountain and walked around downtown.

Awesome! I did a glacier cruise Sunday before heading back home on a midnight flight. Got pictures of a couple of humpback whales in Prince William Sound. Really cool!

I was on a Black Cab tour of Belfast early one morning with the S/O Unit and our driver pulls up to a site for a photo op and to get out of the taxi. A second taxi pulls up (also obviously on a tour too) and four folks head-to-toe in P&G pour out. It was surreal seeing them there. We knew folks in common, of course.

They already had a jump on the day ( ) if you know what I mean.

I'll be in Dublin next month on vacation. I'll look for some P&G while I'm there.

Have a good time DTM! Judging by this thread, you'll probably find some Irish P&G.

Dublin is wonderful. Plenty of good trouble to be had there. Make sure you get to Kilmainham Gaol (Jail). It is slightly off the beaten path (about 2/3rds a mile West of the Guinness facility) but well worth the historical visit.

I thought I would share this

I ran into this girl who was a journalism major that graduated the same year I did in Homer, Alaska just this afternoon.

Cool! I'm tracking down my ancestry while I'm there, but sightseeing will be a big part as well. I'm staying at the Shelbourne Dublin on St. Stephen's Green. Any good pubs nearby?

The Temple Bar district is within walking distance of the Shellbourne; they play late there. Shop around as to pubs, you'll find the right one. The locals show pretty well there as well as Irish from the hinterlands. If you have any game at all you can scare up company.

Visit "Leo Burdock Fish & Chips" on Crown Alley at some point. It isn't haute cuisine, but it's authentic F & C and spot on.

Lots of Continental Europeans and Brits there (Dublin) on holiday. A real smorgasbord, literally.

I flew back in last night after visiting family in La for a few weeks. Its good to be back!

Those of us living in or around Anchorage need to get together and watch the games!

I just exchanged "WhoDat" with a guy in a Saints jersey/cap at Texas Roadhouse in Anchorage. Was that any of you?!
