I know there’s talk that the admin wants
Nolan Cain to stay no matter who is hired. But Dunn won’t be retained right? Please say no!

Why in the world do they wanna keep Cain?

We need better talent evaluation.

Why?

Wouldn’t the new head coach get full control of the program?

Are we just wanting him to stick around for his recruiting ability? Sure as hell dont want him coaching 3rd base any more

They honestly need to clean house completely and start over. Let the new coach bring all of his people.

Dunn seems like a good guy but holy hell he’s been awful trying to develop secondary pitches for our guys over the years

No one is being retained by LSU. All hires are up to the new HC.

He'll have another job by the next morning. He's one of the best despite what this board thinks.

We need to clean house. Cain's recruits aren't competing with Vandy , UT, Florida, Moo State, or Arky.

I think when the O’Sullivan stuff was going around the word was he would stay on in some kind of admin role.

If the AD is mandating Cain be retained, we're getting Bianco, because no HC should be dictated to as to who their Asst's are.

That makes more sense.

I'm not all that impressed with his recruiting. We have huge holes on that roster. We haven't had a decent catcher since Paperski graduated. We were so bad this year we couldn't even field a DH. Much less have a decent pinch hitter off the bench to hit for our .140 hitting catcher in key spots.
