Alabama has the greatest football program in the nation and I am ok with it

From their upper echelon leadership right down through the coaching staff. Win after win after win. Amazing athletes, amazing athletic development, coaching etc....right on down the line.
LSU will never get there. We are a really good program, but not the best. We might get lucky every decade and beat the best, once. That will not make us the best.
This doesn't bother me. I'm still a Tiger fan. Why does it bother so many? Why can't we just accept the reality at this moment and be ok with it? Why do we have to fire everybody over and over again only to end up being the same really good program?

So you're OK with not trying? I don't get this attitude. Success in any facet of life doesn't just happen. It's the result of hundreds or even thousand of little choices.

They are the best because of their will and commitment to be the best. Those things are within LSU's control, yet we don't have them, as evidenced by your capitulating post.

We are a really good program, despite of our record this year. We had some frick ups. That doesn't make us Arkansas or atm

Why should he. Some people are just naturally clean, well groomed and in good shape. There's no reason for him to expend any energy taking care of himself. He can just sit on his butt all day eating Cheetos, and he's fine with that.

Again, you don’t know this. A good hire doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll get better results, but a bad one (Orgeron) guarantees you won’t.
