Most doctors will not take chemo treatments...they would rather just be made comfortable and live the rest of what lives they have left.
Chemo has been proven to open the doors for the body to metastasize cancer. Some people survive it...most do not as they suffer even more after having it and die faster.

The obvious fix is to train AI to identify shite journals and shite research.
It seems like that’s where we’re headed. AI should help us make better evidence informed decisions.

I thought I was cynical....
I've had cancer twice. I saw the tumors. They were real. The treatment was real. Not everyone who has cancer gets defrauded in cancer care.
So if you get cancer, what are you going to do? Hopefully not see a doctor... you don't trust them.

Thanks for offering that perspective. There’s plenty to criticize about the cost of cancer care and the incentives in medicine, but “patients can get exploited” & “the treatment is just a scam” are very different claims. The latter has to account for experiences like yours which are all too real.

Of course, this completely computer algorithm result does not prove that any papers are fake. It merely creates a list of hits that would have to be investigated before a conclusion can be reached as to any single paper.

There was a study done several years ago and showed that ~ 75% of doctors refused chemo.
