It has nothing to do with the type of uniform. It's about the flag. Stars always face front.

On vehicles and people, the union must face forward, the position of honor for the flag in those scenarios /thread.

There are some real idiots in this thread

Flag always faces the same way. Stars front. On all uniforms (not just military)

The Aggies baseball uniforms are military uniforms? I don't care if its a military school, the baseball players aren't a part of any military.

This. All the Aggy friends I have who went there act like they were a part of the military just for going to school there.

NOLA1128 I take it you haven't been a marine long. During.times of peace, the flag is worn with the stars on the left side. During times of conflict/war the flag is worn with the stars on the right side as if to say we are charging forward. Seeing as.though AM is a military school, I imagine they keep military.standards

Or maybe because we don't have a flag on our uniforms. You don't know my TIS.

And I have no idea what it's like for the other branches, but I'm pretty sure the Army has one of their many stupid patches on their left shoulder to show what unit they're in, and the flag is always on their right.

Nor do we. And I agree the army gets quite a bit ridiculous with the patches lol. As for knowing the patches of.other services I guess I just remember the classes we had prior to deployment explaining everything about the other services and countries. No disrespect about your TIS just making a point that maybe.you havebt been in long enough to learn all the usless shite

I've been in plenty long enough man. I don't know much about other uniforms or branches, mainly because of the typical Marine arrogance and attitude. I just had never heard that before, and I am fairly certain the newest regulation for the Army has their unit patch on the left and flag on the right at all times. I wasn't aware that it ever switched.

This is correct. Stars are always forward or upper left.

Active US Soldier here: Current unit patch on left side of ACU, Most recent unit deployed with on right side of ACU, American Flag Stars to the front above deployed unit patch on ACU. Still way too much velcro for my taste.

a&m hasn't been a military school since 1969. rotc encompasses about 10% of the students today yet they dominate the atmosphere at the school tradition wise and publicity wise. i guess you could say the tail is wagging the dog. for some reason rotc cadets like to squeeze their balls at football games and dislike pretty young girls as cheerleaders and the rest of the school goes along with it.

If there was an international symbol for jerk off, it would be worn on the aTm uniforms somewhere.
