have seen some concerning things about denver harris, everyone wants to steal him away but he may be someone the staff isnt comfortable taking

Giving unproven and probably immature ( as are the vast majority of all 17-19 year old young men) this kind of money and accolades is a recipe for disaster..

We also don't live at our place of business, eat there, and pretty much spend 24hr a day engrained into everything about our jobs.
If you are THAT immersed you better want to be there

He just needs a little alignment.

Had not seen this. When was it reported? We’re all players suspended for the same thing?

Agree, if he wants in take him. We have the room. If he doesnt align then kick him off the team, not a big deal to us since we can sign like 35 guys this year.

Jimbo probably leaking the news so other teams won't want to steal his entire class

That’s what the Aggie people are saying

I heard it’s bc they were smoking weed in the locker room. Lol not sure how credible that is but hilarious if true.
That's what I just heard reported on the Sirius college football channel. Big discussion of how this was the ultimate display of privileged behavior with no respect for team and no fear of consequences. Lots of talk about the effect of NIL on player behavior.

A&M needs to go hire urban Meyer. He had experience winning with a bunch of head cases.
They need to hire Mark Mangino - dude made Kansas into a really good football team by threatening to eat any player that screwed around.
The head cases and spoiled brats would leave or end up as dinner. Might be the only way that dumpster fire gets turned around anytime soon.
(Obviously this is humor, but I DO remember seeing a ton of "My coach can eat your coach" shirts during Mangino's reign of terror over his own players at KU).

The issue is much deeper at A&M. Its the entire culture from administration and fans. Just look at the ring glorification and believing an aggie ring trumps all other accomplishments or skills sets in life to get a job. Look at the yell practice cult. Its scary.

I don't disagree, but if Aggie could find some way to get that million-dollar recruiting class to play anywhere near their potential, it would be a dramatic step up for them.
Unfortunately, they (like) the Romans invited the barbarians in to help them, then ended up getting overrun when they lost control of them.
Cracking the whip on the million-dollar class would be the first step to restoring some sense of order in CS. Yeah, then you gotta deal with all the other weird stuff, but if you don't get the players to play up to their potential then none of that other stuff matters.

It’s truly truly an unfair situation for everyone involved. Or at least potentially so.
It ends up being like an arranged marriage. Some people can make it work, some can’t, but without the love, it definitely makes it harder for the emotional buy in. And all three parties, Buyer, Player and Potential Good Buyer all suffer because of it.
