Being the SEC Champion will matter.

IF LSU wins out, you can't say head to head matters with LSU/Tennessee and then dismiss it when it comes to LSU/Georgia.

If you think head to head matters, then LSU, Georgia and Tennessee will have all beat each other. Then what?

I think the committee will recognize LSU's resurgence since the loss to Tennessee. It's how you finish and the idea of possibly taking two SEC teams over the SEC champion is ludicrous.

Agree. Chair of committee mentioned improvement during the year when discussing TCU.

If improvement matters, then (a) a loss during week 1 doesn’t matter, and (b) beating the #1 team in the last week of the season will carry significant weight.

Only person that disagrees is Bama bitch boy Rece Davis. No other talking head disagrees.

There’s no doubt about it. If LSU wins out, they’re in.

I honestly don’t see why it would even be a debate because at the time we beat ole miss, Bama and now Georgia they would all be in the top 10. Tennessee beat Bama and yes beat us at home but got crushed by Georgia. Moving on

I think only one person doesn’t realize that and he happens to be a Bama grad.

I hope it happens and he has to talk about it for four straight weeks.

Basically if we beat UGA the transitive property cancels out the loss to UT, then we’re left as the actual SEC champ going for us and TN without even a division. No one gives a damn about the FSU loss.

No one with a brain gives a F about the missed PAT first game FSU loss.

Yep. We definitely have an argument. Could go either way.

On top of that if LSU could beat UGA they could beat any team in the country.

two Big Ten teams didn't go to playoffs over Penn State...just Ohio State. And Ohio State got pummelled in playoff game...lost 31-0...

host sites are Atlanta and Tempe...it all depends on which site is closest to the No. 1 seed.
