tell me this, are any of you satisfied with the offense the last two years?

3 5* WR's
1 5* RB and 1 4* RB
2 4* TE's
2 4* QB's

= offense ranked in the 100's the last two years...

sorry im not a sunshine pumper...

I believe it's time we call things even, and forever do away with the "negatigers" moniker.

...and replace it with "tardatigers". Clearly, there is something very wrong upstairs with a person who honestly, truthfully, finds a reason to gripe about 62 wins in 6 seasons- not to mention expect a BCS Title every year.

I do believe that for many, a lot of it has to do with age- and never knowing and consciously witnessing true failure in a football program. The rest- who the hell knows???

I can tell you this- I remember quite well the last few times we played against our recent Cotton Bowl opponent. I can also tell you this: As far ahead of A&M our program is now, it was twice as far behind (probably even more) them in 1995, the last time we played them. That was the "Bring Back The Magic" season.

I wouldn't trade now for those days- for anything!

The "good old days" are right freaking now!

This. And when they look back on it many years from now, once they've got some perspective, you'd hope they'd realize how they didn't really get to enjoy it because they spent the whole time waiting on something bad to happen so they could say "I told you so".

What's the point?

I'm a fan because I love LSU. I've loved them when they sucked, I've loved them when they rocked, and I always will. And that's a lot better than being perpetually pissed off because nobody is listening to me whine.

PosiTiger Perspective

- Negatiger always young
- Negatiger never played football
- Negatiger started following LSU when Saban started winning
- Negatiger leaves games early
- Negatigers do not contribute to TAF/School
- Negatigers are intellectually retarded
- Negatigers always criticize without reason

- PosiTiger always older and attended LSU
- PosiTigers stay till clock hits 0:00 and then cleans the stadium
- PosiTigers donate money
- Positigers remember Archer, Hallman, and Stovall day
- PosiTigers don't care about stats only W/L
- Positigers never boo
- Positigers never question
- Positigers never criticize the team, coaches, or players

Think this describes how positigers see things and next I will do how negatigers see things

From the Negatiger Perspective

- Negatigers are realist
- Negatigers point out obvious flaws
- Negatigers do not want mediocrity

- Positigers are all sunshine pumpers
- Positigers are unaware of facts
- Positigers refuse to see what is in front of them

I agree. I try not to visit this board too much. Can get depressing.

Just come here after big wins.

Also keep this in mind. The concept of a message board is basically saying whatever the hell you want without having to show your face and/or name. So if you are upset with LSU football what do you do? You don't show your disapproval in front of people who are happy with the situation, instead you go online where you can hide behind a name like RockStar8272.

Good points, all.

And make no mistake- I am happy as I can be that many here HAVEN'T had to go through the type of long agony that made up much of the 80s & 90s. I hope we are winners for many years to come.

But part of me still considers most who choose to cling on to every microscopic negative tidbit- INSTEAD OF THE FACT THAT WE WERE 11-2- to be a little on the foolish side. You boys think our offense was the worst ever? Tell you what- I'll take an "underacheiving" offense & a 11-2 TEAM over an exciting, explosive, yet 8-4 TEAM any day of the week.

8-4 teams, God love 'em, don't finish in the top ten- no matter how many goosebumps they give the fans when their offense has the ball.

Here's what I've seen the last three years:
8-5, 9-4, 11-2. Call them whatever you wish, but wins are still wins, and improvement is still improvement.

Positigers are delusional

As in delusional to think LSU could finish with 10Ws back in August and now delusional to propose LSU could get 11 Ws in next regular season.

What's "logical" bout being a "Negatigers" with the run LSU has put up in the last 10 seasons or so???

I have been a diehard LSU fan for over 30 years. I have been through the good and bad times of LSU football. When gaffs happen such as the clock management in the Ole Miss game, Georgia game (which alot of fans overlook but the end of the first half was terribly coached)and the end of the Tennessee game I am going to critisize the coaching staff. They are getting paid well enough to take the heat for their mistakes.

What pisses me off more than anything is the positigers who call out 18-22 yr old kids who are trying their hardest yet in the same breath say don't talk badly about Miles. That is f'n retarded.

It's sad that some people lack the ability to separate final results and process.

Am I happy we won eleven games this year? Yes.

Am I happy with how we were coached on offense? No.

It is possible to separate the two. This all or nothing approach held by some shows a lack of reasoning skills.

What's worse than a negatiger?

A whole freakin' thread discussing negatigers!

Get a life--it's a message board, not ESPN Commentary. Negative, positive...it's all gonna be there no matter how much whining goes on.

Of course I did read all of this shite, so I guess I need a life too!

And YOU are generalizing saying positigers were happy about the offensive performance.

/mirror

I'm glad we've got hope on the horizon there. You're stuck rehashing the last three years.

I never said that. Try and keep up.

Whose rehashing? I'm simply pointing out that there was a lot of which to be critical. Acting like any criticism was unwarranted due to the fact that we won eleven games makes a person appear to be dumbass.

And once again you try to speak for those you are generalizing while trying to act superior.

It is difficult for someone to argue with actual success yet on this board it seems to be the central theme. Regardless how anyone would respond to such negative comments, it seemed to be fruitless. Lets face it.. a true negatiger is a 17-22 year single male who spends most of his time either playing Lords of Warcraft, listening to Weezer,Ludo or Justin Bieber or watching internet porn. He know little of nothing about real football since he never played it. He probably played cello in the Junior High "orchestra" instead. He is not only not a Tiger fan but any sort of fan. It is not in his DNA. Trying to "reason" with him is a monumental waste of time. I realize his opinion and his rants are like radio static.

I'll have you know that I'm 18, play Call of Duty, played 4 years of Varsity football, listen to rock or country, know football damn well, can't play an instrument, and is a die hard Tiger!
