What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Sorry I couldn't resist. And I agree with most of what you said.

frick off! We now have been held hostage again and gave the man and extension. Crowton is gone and that is what everyone agreed needed to happen!

I think Miles is great in recruiting and a great man indeed. He is a breath of fresh air in the college game.

But, if we go down to the wire and ALMOST lose or do lose because of not being prepared for the situation or a coach fails at clock management, SCREW YOU, I'll be as negative in my comments ast he next guy.

THings like that described shouldn't really happen at this level of competition and PAY, so when they do, ALL fans hold the right to criticize those mistakes the same way we hold the right to cheer and support correct decisions.

I don't care what all Miles has done wrong, wehen he does something right, we cheer. Also, I don't care about what has gone right in the past, when he does something wrong we let our opinions known.

It is what it is at this level, take it or leave it. I am VERY VERY happy we have Miles here, but he is not above criticism, not at this price!

If you're looking for the ultimate abused drunkard negatiger, ding ding ding, we have a winner.

lol, thats a pretty funny description, I hate the negatigers too...

Negatigers act like a close win doesnt count. Its like the mantra good teams win close games never exited in football to them. Fools

Great post. Some on here don't know the meaning of being a true fan. I understand the need to see the "Tiger Town Beat Down" and wish that would happen every week. In today's college football, the field is becoming more even with the balance and restrictions relative to scholarships and the best coaches in college football being our weekly foes. You couple that with SEC rivalry competition, the games are more intense and closer than most fans like.

The price tag that comes with a quality coach doesn't preclude the fact that he is coaching 18-22 year old kids and, yes, they (the kids) sometimes make mistakes regardless of the coach.

I love LSU and will always look for the positive and from time to time I will stomp in frustration when a boneheaded mistake is made.

Lately I have refrained since I have come to believe that it makes little or no real difference.

Look, it's a vehicle for LSU fans/sports fans to chat bout various topics we all have some degree of interest in. Nothing more and nothing less and we all can do with it what we wish.

Like many things in life, this forum is what you have a want to make it. You can be a positive influence or a negative one. You can be a name caller or you can make your points with some degree of class. You can enjoy the football success that is LSU's for the past 11 years or you can ask why haven't we done better. You can fear the future or you can glory in the present and await the unknown of tomorrow.

You make the forum...it doesn't make you.

This !

This site is FULL of rude and self-serving semi-morons. AKA "Rantards" (the nickname is well deserved)

These negatigers have a need to be the smartest kid in the class - therefore anything regarding the program MUST be torn apart and then we are served up with how THEY would do it better.

Posting logical rebuttals with supporting fact mean nothing!
Posting anything leaves you open to random insults.
Dont bother with replying in a long thread thats 'hot' - no one will read it or reply - only to flame you for your 'ignorance'

This site is somewhat cool because of the avatars and prfile pics - so i put up with the garbage.

Learn to tune out the rantards and have a thick-skin and you will be ok

(I predict somebody will feel the need to insult me after reading my post) THEY are the Rantards I'm speaking of...

It is difficult for someone to argue with actual success yet on this board it seems to be the central theme. Regardless how anyone would respond to such negative comments, it seemed to be fruitless. Lets face it.. a true negatiger is a 17-22 year single male who spends most of his time either playing Lords of Warcraft, listening to Weezer,Ludo or Justin Bieber or watching internet porn. He know little of nothing about real football since he never played it. He probably played cello in the Junior High "orchestra" instead. He is not only not a Tiger fan but any sort of fan. It is not in his DNA. Trying to "reason" with him is a monumental waste of time. I realize his opinion and his rants are like radio static.

you could replace "negatiger" with "positiger" and it makes just as much sense.

Ive been on this board since OCT and on a premium site since 2006. Negatigers are there too.

I see that when people try to rebut all the negativity because its overly and unfairly critical, or just plain wrong, they are branded Positigers.

Ive been on both sides -- I was considered a big 'positiger' -- but ive been as critical as tjhe next guy - when its deserved. I'm positive when its deserved too

Negatigers are much more logical then the positigers. I have tried to have some logical discussions and positigers always ruin them.

Right.

The basic premise of his post is that anyone who looks past immediate results and questions/criticizes process is a social invalid with no ability to understand athletics.

While well-written, his post lacks cognitive substance and appeals to the shallower observations of sports fans. All credibility is lost when he attempts to marginalize those he disagrees with in sweeping generalizations.

His argument is a hallow easter egg - appealing on the outside while lacking anything remotely related to substance.
