Do referees make mistakes - of course. But when a fan spends all this time and energy picking apart every play looking for mistakes, well, it's just pathetic.

Yes, questions can be raised throughout the game. I am just pointing out that LSU performed fairly admirably in the last minutes and there were a series of obvious official errors which were virtually impossible to overcome. There was no balance on the questionable calls at the end.

Instead of a sanctimonious comment why don't you consider the players performed well and made 6 or 7 positive plays of the last 8. While not every official call will go their way the preponderance of poor calls was too much to overcome.

There were no poor calls. Now, go back to your X-Box and leave the adults alone.

Great breakdown of just how bad it was. You could also add that the "rule" for the booth to be able to overturn a ruling on the field is "indisputable visual evidence." Since no replay angle allows the booth to see the football or Etling's hands on the final snap, ie no way to determine when the snap took place, they had NO basis on which to overturn the official ruling on the field which was a TD.

No, Tiger fans are not melting. A few people are.

LSU sucks and we deserved to lose the game. Just a pathetic performance against a pathetic football team that LSU should have handled by 4 TDs without question.

Credit to AUB for playing better and getting the W.

AU didn't really play better, there could be as many critiques of their performance as LSU. They were at home in a big SEC game . They recruit well also and have outstanding players too. The preponderance of questionable officiating was far too much to overcome despite a valiant effort.

If your whole point is to bash Miles and the players there are a million other threads to do so. Some of it is deserved, but despite that a great opportunity to win in a hostile environment was made virtually impossible by either bias or ineptness by the officials.

Funny, from where I sat, auburn should have won by 4tds. Lsu got its arse kicked up and down the field all game as well as statistically. The only difference was y'all got a td one of the times you made it to the rz and Auburns rz offense is still shite.

Both teams have major problems, but lsu was much closer to getting blown out than auburn was. It could've been another 2014esque arse raping

People are glad the refs helping to usher out Les.

I want him gone as well, but LSU was robbed

Good legitimate points here by OP. I thought that unlike 2006, the officials did all right, until the last drive. Then they made enough mistakes to almost equal the amount made in the 2006 game.

I was surprised that Moreau's touchdown was allowed after review.

We were across the 50 yard line with 2:11 left and a timeout.

Thats another great point. Nice to have someone else respond to the points raised instead of ad hominem attacks and the 10 millionth Les bashing comment.

Also the white hat official clearly gave the signal to start the clock. I was watching him and we did not snap the ball as soon as I saw him give the signal I knew we lost. Didn't even waste my time celebrating

And your point is...? We got hosed, but it isn't why we lost. shite happens. Good, well coached, teams overcome stuff like this. CLM shite the bed- again. I disagree with the Auburn fans on one count though, only one of these coaches was fighting for his job last night and that was CLM. Gus was gone no matter what imo as Auburn is fricked as the season goes forward. There is no way that they make a bowl game. As for LSU, Miles has talent and a win last night would have been big (yes, even in a typical CLM shite show kind of way). Miles and Gus will be both be coaching elsewhere next season (if they are lucky). My .02.

Watching the replay he is 10 to 12 yard behind the LOS and not even visible on teh screen wehn the paly begins.

Why didn't he blow the whistle and call the game on the field if the ball was snapped after time expired?

I was at the game and was watching him. He blew the whistle and gave the signal then the clock started and we weren't even close to getting it off. I saw the clock at 0 and looked back and we still hadn't snapped the ball. The ref u see on TV I assume is who set the ball not the white hat ref who gave the signal. It was obvious in the stadium

Because there was no harm in letting the play run if he wasn't 100% sure. They are told that if they aren't sure, let the play continue because they can always come back and review it.

Negatigers are insufferable. We had the talent to win out this year. But it wasn't meant to be. Too many injuries on the O-line (which I was worried about anyway due to having both new tackles) and LF hasn't been healthy for even 1 game this year. LF going out at the end of the Wisc game, and reinjuring the ankle on the last series of the Auburn game were catalysts for both losses. But "everything" is Miles fault, especially not being Nick Saban.
