Look for new Advocate beat writers in football and baseball next season with Ross Dellenger off to Sports Illustrated and Luke Johnson joining NOLA.com on Saints beat.
Both did tremendous jobs and will be missed.

Sports Illustrated is a greener pasture, but nola.com or anything Times-Picayune related has worse job security than being in Trump's cabinet. They have fired a ton of people (including TP lifers over the last few years).

Not many have good job security with any newspaper but getting NFL beat writer on your resume is a very big check mark.
