So now we are suppose to believe another journalist whose sources didn't even let them know about the meetings in Dallas yesterday. They are in the dark on this one. They should just admit it

There are actually several scenarios in play that overlap. Because Brick signed his extension, we would have to pay him a buyout to get rid of him now. The other option is for him to leave and take another job, but he may be using this situation as leverage. Because he signed before Chavis left, he has the upper hand and can hold up this entire deal because we do not have a open position for Orgeron.
It would be one thing if this was just a defensive Cordinator search, but it looks like it's turned into a search for two coaches. Hiring two coaches and paying a buyout on top of that is going to be an expensive proposition.
This is likely what would be causing Miles to overthink things.

which is probably why CP eventually fell down the list.
Personally I don't think brick is a horrible hire, is it the best? Far from i,t but if that is the sityation that brings in Yaw Yaw than I'm perfectly ok with that.

I honestly think either Les or someone in the front office has an account with this site. They cooled on CP as soon as the fans cooled on him. I would love for them to contact Bob Shoop.
