"Can you prove it?"
The NCAA does not operate on proof. They are not a "court of law."

“They BELIEVED that Dawkins and Wade were referring to payments of some type”.

BELIEVED

If the NCAA starts handing out sanctions based on what’s BELIEVED then every major college team in America is in trouble.

I would be surprised if anything actually happens. I doubt Woodward makes the decision to come if there was a serious, looming threat over our head. Or anything he couldn't handle.

I’m sure you’ll whack your little pud if/when LSU gets punished.

But they won’t, so you’ll have to whack it to these articles instead.

Even the NCAA has SOME kind of burden of proof. There has to be some kind of corroboration, some money changing hands, an admission, SOMETHING. Without that tape getting into evidence or without Wade testifying that he committed violations their job is exponentially more difficult than it would have been.

But keep holding out hope if you want, man. Maybe mean ole Will Wade will get his!

A Yahoo article is enough to hammer an NCAA basketball program. This is essentially what you're arguing.

And exactly which sanction handed to Ole Miss was for the payments made to Tunsil? Because everyone BELIEVED he got paid. You know, since he said he did on national tv and all.

Not my words. This is a direct quote from the Advocate (or do you even know what quote marks are?). Try reading before you respond.

I'm not sure who you believe you're breaking any news to here. We know the NCAA still has an investigation to come. But if Wade isn't testifying, the NCAA doesn't really have anything on Wade. Sure, they could still make some arbitrary decision on our program, but with so many programs being involved in this case, I don't think the NCAA will be so quick to make blind judgements, for self-preservation reasons.

As for the judge saying he could change his mind... why would he actually do that?

You have a hopeful disposition that LSU gets sanctions from the NCAA. That is not consistent from someone that calls themselves an LSU fan.

Then we have been in trouble for a long time since that is how the NCAA has always operated. The NCAA assembles a committee and they vote. Done.
