This will likely be the game where he has his heisman moment.

Advice?

Don't be a dick! Have a sense of humour Don't get mad at a "Tiger Bait! or Geaux Tigers" Have fun with it. If you're not an A-Hole, you may find yourself invited to tailgate party with excellent food and perhaps a free adult beverage.

Your enjoyment of Tiger Stadium totally depends upon you

yes

I actually do have kin in BR; but don't really know them - my Mimi's family is from there; but anyone I ever actually met has gone to be with the Lord by now...

You're right.

Closest thing is on Siegen, it's far out and would be a hassle to get to and from. and it's $236/night

Nah, I'd book a room in the College Drive/Acadian Thruway area.

Want to get out to LSU early on Saturday...enjoy the festivities and build up.

I would stay in Nola on Friday if you are a party guy. If not and you are just looking for some rest the night before the game, I'd just stay in BR. The single most important thing is being on campus early. By 8 am for a 2pm kickoff and by noon if a 6 or 7 pm kickoff.

Hotel likely provides a shuttle into campus. If not, LSU offers a shuttle in from downtown or you could Uber in for cheap if you head to campus early enough. Short distance.

I would get to campus no later than 10 AM if a night game. No later than 8 if 2:30.

Man day games suck.

Unless you’ve attended a Troy game here and you’ll find the stadium empty in the third quarter!????

The Belle used to be a Sheraton. The Atrium at the hotel was former site of LSU's Bayou Bash (National Signing Day).

I don't think you can go wrong with this hotel.

The traffic from NOLA to BR will be unreal if you drive up the day of. Best bet is stay in BR so you don't have to worry about as much traffic and you'll have somewhere to leave your car.

Don't come. Burrow is gonna light up UGA. Stay home and save the money. Maybe go fishing that day.
