I’m told by multiple sources that the TCU coaching staff is “most sure” that Adam Miller will not be choosing the Frogs tomorrow. This was the guy TCU worked the hardest to get, but what LSU offered him must have been too great.

He becomes LSU's best SG (2 guard) if he stays. He's a good player who has shown ability to further develop his outside shot...something this roster still needs. If he stays, this is a team that will compete in the SEC and will have a shot to make the NCAA Tournament. Quite a turnaround from 6 weeks ago when several on here didn't think LSU would win an SEC game next season

He isn’t that good. Geez

So youre basing your opinion off his numbers as a TRUE FRESHMAN STARTER on a Tourney 1 seed team....???

Bold move cotton

This is weird bc Unlucky states he's gone and he's usually solid.....then hours later its reported TCU concedes hes gone.

Illinois wasn't a Final Four team. In fact, they weren't even a Sweet 16 team. They were, however, a number 1 seed that season

If Jordy is reporting Miller to LSU, you know that’s coming directly from Wade right now. I feel pretty good this morning.

Well damn.
Still, I dont agree with the sentiment that he sucks....hes likely immediately the best guard on the team

247

I mean he was as close to being a 5 star as one can be without actually getting a 5th star. He was ranked less than 10 spots behind where Cam Thomas ranked that year.

If he was good enough to start on a big 10 champion #1 seed then he would be just fine at lsu.

Ponchy hates Wade and doesn’t want to admit Miller would have been a key piece to the 21-22 team.

Good point!

Thomas earned that ranking because he was great at scoring (not necessarily shooting accuracy) but not so good at alot of other things on the court. Miller isn't great at anything but he is good at several things (defense, scoring, getting others involved) and is likely that his shooting will continue to improve. His FT% improved from Illinois to Team USA. Nobody yet knows if his FG% has improved from Team USA to now based on his injury but also offseason work put in.

Be honest man, Tcu has money but they don’t have LSU money. 2 completely different levels. Not counting alumni… LSU football alone is a $100m/yr program. Tcu isn’t pulling that kind of money.

Agree with this wholeheartedly.

I’m speaking to alumni money. Do those alumni choose to spend that on athletics the way that LSU does? No. Could they? Yes. And then double that.

McMahon stated at the coaches caravan in Covington last night that both remaining spots would be filled in the next 4-5 days. I’m hoping this means Miller and a rim protector will be on board before the end of next week.
