When Alabama and Georgia play will the refs help both at the same time or does it only happen if LSU is directly involved?

The officials did what they were paid to do. The SEC got exactly what it wanted, JD injury included.

Ramming your helmet into an opposing players chin is taught as a tactic (illegal) for offensive linemen to use on defensive linemen. By the same token a defensive player has to intentionally want to target a QB's chin as was done last night. To not call it targeting last night is not defendable. The game should have stopped and Let them review it back in the SEC office. The targeting rule is specifically in place to prohibit what happened last night.

They were paid to call an even game? Good

I refuse to blame the loss on the refs, but someone needs to lose their livelihood over the no call on the hit that concussed Daniel’s. An officiating crew comprised of Helen Keller and Ray Charles would’ve seen that.

agreed, and this was the biggest issue with the hit.

Regardless, it was a dirty hit, but mainly because of driving Daniels to the ground.

The refs were not the problem. The problem was our shite D that literally can’t stop anyone.

You know there can be multiple problems right? It doesn’t have to be one or the other

The refs were not the reason we lost but that doesn’t excuse them for being atrocious.

They really weren’t that bad. By far the worst call they made was the false start they called on bama

Lol, yeah that was even. The holdings, horse collars, and blatant PIs where Bama did the same things at it was all good. Then they concuss a Heismann contender on a dirty play and nothing.

Keep defending corruption. LSU wasn’t winning that game, regardless. Matt House was going to lose it. The refs weren’t needed but they can’t help themselves

They called roughing the passer.

No they were bad

Missing a blatant horse collar at midfield on Daniels, the targeting, multiple PIs we didn’t get the benefit it. They were really bad

Oh wow. They definitely aren’t corrupt then. Where was the targeting, ejection, and suspension?

Keep defending corruption. Again, LSU wasn’t winning this game, but the refs couldn’t help themselves. They had to allow Bama a horse collar, several PIs, several late hits, key holds (see CBS’s play of the game after killing our drive before with a phantom hold).

Yep, all fair and square. No corruption whatsoever

They were really bad for bama too on a few calls. But they didn’t effect the game one way or the other

The false start penalty was extremely bad

And they didn’t call PI on anyone. They let them play. I am more than happy with the officials

50 penalty yards on bama and 60 on us. And 15 of those on us were on our damn center

Well said. They don’t have to be mutually exclusive.
