You're wasting time arguing with these boobs who cannot recognize their own biases or think objectively for even a minute. They are dense.

this has zero to do with anything else.

It has everything to do with regaining a semblance of trust in the SEC and their officials.

Those refs have to be fired.

That’d be like amputating the big toe of a whole gangrenous leg.

These officials aren’t acting independently. The guys who’d be doing the firing are in on it.

I haven’t seen one post saying LSU would’ve won if not for the referees

They are not the problem, but they are a problem.

They are a serious problem.

They should have called targeting. But they did still throw a 15 yard penalty.
Some of y’all need to take a Xanax

lsupride87: are you a gump alter? do you have any idea why the targeting rule was created?

you should consider educating yourself before prescribing medication for LSU fans!!

Helmet to Helmet hit while launching himself against a defenseless QB who has just thrown the ball. Then drives the QB into the turf. This is not targeting????

For argument sake let’s say they did call targeting, which I don’t believe it was.
What changes in the game? We got the 15 yard penalty, there aren’t more penalty yards for targeting than roughing.
Your QB, unfortunately, was knocked out the game anyway.
Turner is ejected for last 10 minutes of game and 1/2 Kentucky game.
Are you so worried about Turner playing Kentucky?

Bama fans cried over a non-targeting call on Young vs UT just last season. Articles written. Saban bitching in his press conference the next week saying they sent the play in for further review. And Young didn’t miss a fricking snap after said hit.

We just want the SEC to do something while. Bama fans celebrate injuring another QB with a limited edition print.

When they panned to him after a Bama TD. That reaction was priceless

=/=

Officiating did not hurt us

Turner should have been ejected, and the hit wasn't even reviewed for targeting

he didn't launch. Certainly he leaned forward to make the hit, but didn't "launch."

Watch again. Both feet 100% leave the ground right as he approaches Daniels for the hit. He uses that to drive his helmet into him all the way though into the ground, causing the injury.

Here is the defenseless player addition to the targeting rule, which few people around here seem to remember:

“ No player shall target and make forcible contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent with the helmet, forearm, hand, fist, elbow or shoulder. This foul requires that there be at least one indicator of targeting.”

That describes the hit last night very well. Add the launch and it was textbook targeting.

I don’t think they did. They won’t for us either. The only time I’ve seen them act retroactively was against that a-hole center from State who cleat-stomped two or three guys in 2014, and that was egregious. He got suspended for 2 or 3 games for it, and deservedly so.

I agree that we lost because we have an inept DC and subpar players who are also poorly coached. That said, don't forget the timely penalties that killed a few of our offensive drives. Bama and the REC knew that we had to score pretty much every time we had the ball in order to have a chance to win. They made sure that didn't happen.

It would not be a Bama game if there was not some interference from the baws in Birmingham.

You were probably 6 years old when the officials gifted you the so called Game of the Century in Birmingham in 2011.
