Yes it is. It has been posted 1,000 times so I will make it 1,001. We never had actual attendance over 90k LINK

There were not "lots" of empty seats for the Ole Miss game. The empty seats were mostly in the East upper deck and those are visitor seats. I was surprised that Ole Miss didn't bring more fans considering they were undefeated and they hate us so much.

That said, the asshats who own the seats in front of me always sell to visiting fans for big games. There were Ole Miss fans sitting in their seats 2 weeks ago and Bama fans sitting there in 2012. I fully expect to find Gumps there on Saturday night.

Ole Miss game had over 100K. Why not Bama?

100k+ Sold... <90 in attendance. I know we will finally break the 90,000 actual mark but I don't think we will reach 100 for a long time. The stadium only holds around 102 so your talking about a darn near 100% attendance.

There was probably close to 3-4k empty seats for Ole Miss. You could definitely see it on the west side lower bowl. The upper corners also had lots of empty seats. It's going to be very hard to fill this stadium to capacity....just as it was when we had 92k.

I was shocked at the amount of tickets for sale 5 minutes before kickoff.

I tried to sell one of my east upper tickets for $20 at Ole Miss (sat with a friend in the South EZ) Everybody seemed picky about being in the upper so it stayed in my pocket for the game. I don't think people will be turning down tickets for this game tho.

Not true. I thought that until I tried to get tickets for the 2009 Florida game right before kickoff outside stadium. There were none to be had, that I could find anyway.

I dunno about inside, however, I bet there will be upward of 150,000 or more on the outside around 4pm Saturday.

The lower West side always has empty seats, sometimes over one thousand empty seats. It amazes me especially for big games.

Yes. Have you stumbled across the link a few posts above?

Florida in 07 didn't crack 90k in actual attendance. Bama in 2010 had 86,300 actual. I would think 2012 cracked 90k though, and think this game will too. But it won't be capacity.

The highest ever % attendance (actual attendance/paid attendace) is 97 vs. Florida in 2007. The stadium was packed as hell that game--if this weekend matches that the actual attendance would be slightly above 100k. Somewhere in the 97-98k range is still an optimistic projection.
