You have definitely misunderstood entirely. Definitely not seeking praise from anyone.Of course I wouldn't go to someone's tailgate and not contribute anything.

Hope you and your wife hook up with some fine Tigers at your tailgate, have a blast, and hopefully see more points scored by LSU than the Aggies.

Thanks for your service and have a Happy Thanksgiving... chances are, you have or will miss some holidays with your family. Cherish that ones that you do not miss.

You don't have to justify anything else to anyone.

Some fine Tiger fan and his family will welcome y'all with open arms ... you can count on that.

Has he not contributed enough? Jesus you're an idiot.

And I'm sure he'll bring stuff. Dude asked to find a tailgate. The military and alum part were to show that he's a stand up guy and respectful.

So you're one of those guys with Semper Fi plastered all over your truck aren't you? Most non-douche active military are very humble and know that they will be given the respect they are due and don't think they need to remind people to give it.

So is he a douche for also including "LSU Alum" in the op?

Please explain your fricked up reasoning

Actually, this is a pretty good discussion.

From what I've said in this thread, what would you classify as "in bad taste"?

This guy gets it.

It's just the dude and his wife. They are looking for nice, fun people to hang out with.

They don't want anyone who offers up an invitation to be worried that some fricking jackass will show up and ruin the tailgate.

Hey bro,

I'm a Vet of OIF & OEF too so when I say this I mean this as in a nice of a way as possible:

The best way to represent our Brethern is to sometimes not gloat. We don't do what we do for recoginition and if we did, we sure as hell don't need it from an online forum.

With that said, thanks for serving brother. Hope you and your wife enjoy the game, and in good company none the less.

Good luck with your tour and safe travels. Guess we'll probably see each other back in Baghdad in no time soon...!
