Am I disapointed ? yes
Did I smoke pot as a young man in college and beyond ? yes
Am I an old fart ? yes
They will learn from this mistake and move on.
This is not the end of the world or the season.

My problem with this whole thing, is that the players didn't "make a mistake" They KNEW the rules, and they KNEW the consequences. Did I ever smoke weed? yes. Did i stop once i was in a situation where the potential consequences far outweighed any possible benefit, umm yes. It's called not being an idiot. I could give two shits about what the players "owe" me or any other fans. The reason this pisses me off is this is nothing more than some guys deciding they are above the rules, and they're gonna do what they want no matter what the potential affects...it's a slap in the face to their other team mates

and of course the players are going to support them, because they don't want to lose fricking games

Seems to me it's time for Miles to stop being the "players" coach and friend and lay to the Freakin law. It's all about perspective and apparently Miles is failing to educate these young men on the values of "team". The team is greater than the individual and the poor judgment shown thus far by many of these players have not embraced or learned that they belong to something that is bigger than themselves.

all of the folks out there condemning the players, remember John 8:7..."Ye who is without sin cast the first stone"....

Im not naive. Anything is possible but I will never pass judgement until facts are confirmed.
You, on the other hand, have slandered their name WITHOUT FACTUAL EVIDENCE.
Go troll somewhere else.

It looks like they made a mistake got caught then made the same mistake again!
So is that a mistake or just not give a shite?

You've made remarks about drug use without backing up a damn word. In my eyes, that's slander.
No one has been suspended, no one has been confirmed to fail ANY test.
CAN YOU READ?
Stop with all your drug use bullshite!
From CLM:

From CLM:
quote:
Miles grew testy at questions about the three players possibly being suspended for failed drug tests, which are administered by the school's compliance department. Some of the media reports have said the players failed drug tests. "I think you're way left of center," Miles said. "I'm saying that wherever you got those (failed drug test) reports, I didn't confirm them. I'm not going to confirm them, and it's not information that I'm going to respond to."

Now TD is more correct than CLM?
ETA: Your EPSN source just got whacked (nope just unstickied). Any more reliable sources?
