Better watch this phrase. I got crucified a while back about saying they were kids. Anyone who says an 18-19 or even 20 year old is not a kid, must be about the same age.

...and acknowledge they are only human and made a bad decision. They even go as far to say they forgive them and can't wait to see them back. It's a shame some of you idiots can't do the same. You made mistakes when you were these kids age it just wasn't amplified cause you aren't on a national stage like they are. Some of you are pretty hypocritical sitting in your glass house criticizing them. Let them learn from the mistake and move on but all of your energy should be focused on supporting those who are playing this Saturday instead of spending all day harping on what may or may not have happened. I like the fact that Randle and Shep are stepping up as leaders and showing support for the 3 in question.

How do you know they haven't apologized to their teammates unless you are wanting them to give a public apology which would be ridiculous.

Honestly I dont care if they apologize publicly or not, though that would be the right thing to do, and the politically correct thing to do. The original post said they have acknowledged they have done wrong and I haven't read it. I was just looking to see where they have been remorseful. It would be refreshing to read.

I just hate the way they deflect it by turning it on the fans about support and what not when that should be the last thing they should do.

I don't think I would be quoting Christ in here.... especially when it's quoted out of context.

Me neither and if it's not the single most pre-texted verse in all of Scripture, it's gotta be right up there.

I'd think there would be more of an equally unfortunate preference for pre-texting the repetitive phrase out of Judges instead: ...and every man did what was right in his own eyes.

It's not me, I'm just an LSU fan, they owe anything to, public or otherwise. It's their head coach and teammates they owe not only an apology, but corrective behavior to. Nobody is making them play LSU FB. They knew the team and University rules when they agreed to come to LSU as a student athlete.

They got a reminder of those rules and guidelines the first time they had a positive drug test. LSU doesn't suspend an athlete from competition after the first positive test - these young men had to have a second positive for that.
