Already spinning it. Hilarious.

This would be a windfall for all. If you're too shortsighted, that's on you.

Show me the press release from LSU saying that.

I agree it is odd that LSU hasn't said anything but let's be honest here - if all media outlets are saying it and it's not true, both Nikki and LSU would have come out by now and said something.

Shortsighted? I love how you “woke” SJWs fantasize. The truth is you don’t deal in reality. The truth is that Women’s Basketball is not desirable for advertisers to buy time to advertise because the ratings are terrible and that is because nobody cares to watch. It is the truth and it cannot be denied and Kim Mulkey isn’t changing that fact.

ETA Since you seemed to ignore this post the first go round, I'm gonna repost it

IF we know one thong about Woodward, it's that he definitely goes cheap on hires and contracts
I do hope this is sarcasm, since Woody is the one who gave Jimbo the mammoth deal at A&M.

Woodward’s MO is throwing a bunch of money at successful coaches from other schools so not really sure why people are surprised.

Woodward may forget LSU doesn’t have Texas A&M oil money to throw around.

I still say BS until LSU actually announces that Fargas is gone

I’m not jabbing here, I’m honestly asking:

LSU put out a statement that Fargas was leaving to pursue opportunities outside of coaching.

I mean, what else do we need?

Don't lump me in with that guy. (not saying you or anyone else did, he just latched on to my comment)

I just don't have any interest in WBB and prefer we spend the money on baseball. That's the extent of thought put into my earlier statement.

That makes sense. I’m not a big WBB fan either.

My thoughts are that Mulkey would easily offset her additional salary in ticket sales and exposure/excitement of the program. Not saying she will turn it into a booming profit center, but she would bring in more than she costs.

If it's a one or the other scenario, I agree. I don't think it is though based on how Woodward has acted.

I'll be right there with you if we do get Mulkey and it has a negative effect on any baseball moves.

Once again you are emotional and not sensible. It has to do with pissing money away that may be needed for much more important things than a Women’s Basketball Coach. Football is the “Bell Cow” that leads everything. To waste money raised during this Covid period on something as meaningless as a Women’s Basketball Coach would be the height of fiscal irresponsibility.

How many different ways do I need to say the money is not the only factor to consider before you get it? It's fricking hilarious you accuse me of being woke and not sensible when you refuse to actually read what people are saying to you.

shite, LSU wasted money on Bo Pelini and didn't even blink. If you can get Kim, you pretty well better damn do it.

He's clueless.

Mulkey checks about every box you want including revenue. She'll raise more money than her salary for LSU.

Agreed. She may have indicated her intentions to everyone, but until she officially resigns (which she hasn't) we don't have a vacancy to fill. They doesn't prevent LSU from reaching out to people about their interest. My response was mainly a reply to the person that said there would a PC for the new coach tomorrow.
