I did it back when Dwayne Bowe went off on Kentucky. It was the only tickets I could get for the family. We drove down from Tennessee. We had a good time with some of their fans. They were good sports, so we went easy on them. The guy in front of me said, “ at least we won the cheerleader award”. Soon after he said that, they dropped one of the girls. I thought they killed her. 
He invited me to his tailgate if we went to a Ky game.

Just based off of the amount of tickets available in the Clemson section on lsusports.net I’m not sure how many Clemson fans are actually making the trip. You will be more than fine.

Not sure if 404 is visitor but 402/403 are the ones I thought were visitor. I noticed on Seat Geek a lot of tickets for sale in those sections a week or so ago.

You should survive! Their tiger fans are mild. You may sit by 1 a-hole but the odds are most of them will be ok. It's not like the student section.

I sat next to Auburn band in 2015. It was a blast seeing Fournette castrate their defense up close. Almost more fun than being surrounded by fellow LSU fans

You might end up paying for your ticket with their odd but fun tradition of handing out $2 bills with some Clemson stamp on the back. In '19 when they came for the Natty, their fans paid our bar tab in $2s. I think I still have some at the bottom of the center console in my car.

Just wear a Clemson jersey , they won’t bother you
