That's not bashing him
Sure, but it's ignoring the fact that he's been in this position before, only to win the SEC three years later and get to a national title game. Your point is level-headed, so obviously my post isn't directed to actually reasonable people like yourself.

This must be why Louisiana has been ranked one of the happiest states in a few reputable publications.

That's why you're losing this argument. You refuse to consider all available evidence and hVe already made up your mind, just like a Trump voter!

But yeah, if we keep Les around, it will eventually get to where it takes years to rebuild like it did UT.

Precisely.

If Alleva wants the best for the football program, he needs to act quickly. I'm not saying fire Miles tomorrow but he should be on the phone, if he hasn't already.

I'm not sure he thinks that way but that's for another thread.

Judging by your shitposting, apparently you do. There is no other explanation for this abortion of a thread.

you're right. Les has gotten progressively worse as a head coach since 2011. The game results speak for themselves
Better record last year than the year before.

FKing and Jindal won't be able to save you this time around. They're not beating public opinion for the second year in a row.

Extremely and highly likely this is Les's last year at LSU.

We have the highest paid OC in the country who only has a job because he's buddies with Les

He also lost 21 games his last 4 years at Texas.
So why compare him to Miles?

I've never seen someone so committed to a troll. It's slightly frightening. Someone should have you admitted.

It's actually the opposite. It's showing he's been in this position before and hasn't changed at all since being in it.

Do I want him to go out on a bad note? Not at all but it's time for a change.

We've lost 4 of the last 5 regular season games. And they all looked the same.

Lost more in four years than Les has ever lost in six.

?

I didn't lose anything. The team I pull for is losing more and more with every passing (pardon the pun) game. They were competing for SEC and national titles (2007/2011), but now they are battling to stay relevant. Miles is systematically dismantling the program built by Saban and himself. His offensive style can't compete now and apparently he can't adapt. If you can't see that his style needs to be retired, then I can't help you. The stats you throw out are historically relevant, but have about as much to do with future success as the number of times it takes to flush a turd after thanksgiving dinner.

Yeah, real good example there. How's UT been since Mack left?

You don't want to wait that long before making the switch. Or else you wind up having to completely build from the ground up.

LSU is in perfect position to transition in the same way they did when Saban left. Still a talented team.. but you wait much longer and the rebuild is slower.

How about this,

How about you look at FLORIDA ST.. OKAY WITH BOBBY BOWDEN staying forever.

Bobby Bowden's last 5 season okay..

8-5
7-6
7-6
9-4
7-6

Jimbo Fisher comes in, and what happens??

10-4
9-4
12-2
14-0 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
13-1
10-3

Hmm so.. the great Bobby Bowden wasn't really getting it done any more, but Fisher comes in and has those results right away..

Imagine if FSU kept Bobby Bowden around loner with those results.. there would be no national championship or heisman contenders..

LSU has the type of talent to be better.. and the sky is the limit with an actual coach.. coaching them up..

Sometimes coaches just get stale man..

LSU could very well be better

And don't give me they play in an easier conference crap, because in that same conference BOBBY BOWDEN WASN'T GETTING IT DONE ANY MORE..

Okay? Miles.. is not getting it done in his own division, let alone conference.

It's not even about beating Alabama.. it's about being competitive again.. in November.. Why must it be so hard? Because you have a hard headed coach who is more concerned over his buddies than the the program.

And spare me the Bowden retired.. regardless, he stayed too long.. and look where they could have been if they hadn't just continued to settle for average.. and being unranked..
