bullshite

There’s no excuse for 2 of the interceptions he threw last night. They were Max Johnson type interceptions. Completely unnecessary. He did one against Ole Miss too.

And it’s 100% on him and not our running game, or coaching, or O line, when he doesn’t run for 8-10 yards when it’s wide open.

frick that shite and I’m sick of him doing both of these things.

Exactly. It’s not the quarterback’s responsibility to make the defense respect the run game. He isn’t a dual threat guy and you have to build the offense around that fact. This just isn’t functioning like an offense built for a gunslinger right now.

People say he’s a gun slinger when in reality, he fricking panics and just tosses it into the ether.

2007, Flynn completed 56% of his passes with 21TD and 11 INTs. Yes, Nuss is in his league.

This’

And the year before Jamarcus completed 67% so don’t give me that different eras bullshite.

Go back 50 years and find me a QB at LSU that was great as a first year starter and could overcome all of a team’s weakness. You won’t find one

What does mean and what good comes from it?

This is such a stupid superlative

Hate to break it to you but not every QB we have is going to be a Heisman caliber QB. Most (hopefully) will just be good college QB’s. But that’s my point. That should be good enough if we put a good team around them. You put Nuss on the 2011 team and we likely win the championship that year

My thought last night was if you run the ball 23 times for 24 yards forcing Nuss to throw over 50 passes to overcome poor play calling, 3 interceptions should be expected.

don't understand why you can't just say Nuss is very talented but he played like shite last night.

Ok. Nuss is talented and absolutely played like a huge steaming pile of dog shite in the second half last night.

Dude just trying to compensate for the majority of the posters completely overeacting and calling for the kid to be benched. People are losing their perspective and don’t realize that we Do Not have the wins we do have without Nuss.

i know you mean well, but loyalty shouldn't be a thing.

Produce or put someone in who can.

I think Nuss has a lot of potential (as does everyone else) but at some point, it has to be actualized or we have to move on.

I don't see that 'it' factor in him that I saw in JB/JD. I'm 100% convinced that if baker was coaching our D last year, we would've won the NC with Jayden.

I have next to no confidence that Nuss can get us there at his current level.

Wanna know who folded versus FSU in the second half last year? Or maybe some guy who folded versus Florida and Alabama in 2018?

Nuss played like complete shite in the second half and threw the game away.

He did the same vs South Carolina but was bailed out.

His decision making isn’t the best

Completely different team with a much better run game

What does that have to do with a completion percentage of 56% and less pass attempts per pick (1 for every 33 attempts vs 1 for every 37 attempts) than Nuss?

I mean every QB has had second half losses, but we can call Burrow and JD5 great with hindsight.

Can't call Nuss great, at least not yet, and maybe not ever. Time will tell.

I like Nuss. I just hate when he starts freaking out and throwing desperation passes. That’s not a gunslinger that’s undisciplined. I know he has zero support in regards to any semblance of a running game and that certainly puts all the pressure on him. What to do about a running game??

Interception 1 was gunslinging. Trying to do too much. It was awful but forgivable. He converted some third downs doing the same stuff.

The following two were part of his complete meltdown. For a long stretch of the second half, he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn unless it was a aggot defender.

That can't happen. Not on a team that claims it has playoff aspirations.

If my count is right, we had 25 1st and 10 plays that got 1 yard or less. Thats not all on Nuss. They need to help him out with some better creative play calling!!
