Thought you said he was just being a bitch.

He may be. I know his old man was said to be difficult and was why a bunch of colleges back off of him. It all sounded like a “taking my ball and going home” on Saturday.

Trying to give the benefit of the doubt now and hope the kid is still with the team and healthy.

It isn’t a concussion. They don’t keep you away from light and sound for that long.

Why would he be at practice if he couldn't practice or exercise? What if he still has light sensitivity and a headache?

Again, not saying it's a concussion, but you people are ruling out stuff for no reason. We have no clue what is going on.

I’m going to believe the sick thing for now. I think there’d be more smoke if he quit the rest of the season or he’d been suspended. Maybe Will doesn’t want him around the team yet if he could still be contagious or he just needs to keep recuperating

Is there any other reason to believe something else?

As reported, he didn't play against Tennessee because he was sick. If you have the flu, you are contagious for the first four days..

There is no reason to think anything else is going on.

I think the only team to hold CJ to single digits was Alabama. I think Robert Orry manned up on him.

He still loves his old school. We as fans should also respect Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf as a former player who once had "LSU Tigers" on his jersey!

Pure speculation here:

Based on how much time Water's has been out and given the fact that he was slightly under the weather for the Florida game he may have come down with mononucleosis which is somewhat popular amongst high school and college campuses. For people in good physical condition it usually takes about two weeks to recover from the virus.

I was lucky to see him every home game. He didn’t have an off night it seemed. Waters is good, but Jackson was on another level. I loved watching him play.

Just a lot of idiotic people on here as usual, and in a state where they call themselves LSU fans. He changed his name long ago and it shouldn't even be a issue at this present time. He is Abdul-Rauf now and you have a lot of players past and present, in other sports also, that have changed their names because they've changed their faiths. But they don't make an issue out of it in these other places or states where these guys are from, but LA has to be backwards and still try and insult this man by saying stuff like his Momma called him Chris. So, I'ma call him Chris, well, you aren't his Momma or even a relation, so you have no right to call him Chris.

An Alabama player stepped on CJ's foot, as CJ was going up for a dunk, and sprained his ankle. That is how they held him to single digits.
