Anderson isn’t Nuss’ favorite target because they like the same food. It’s because what Anderson does best, controls the middle of the field and intermediate routes, is what Nuss is by far the best at attacking.

This is not good.

We supposedly have 7 starting caliber WR so this shouldn't be a problem. Nuss has plenty of talent, especially with Trey’Dez Green back healthy. This is a perfect game for Hilton to bust out but is Nuss healthy enough to get it to him is the question.

For all of the talk about Hilton in the off season, he’s only got 4 catches on the year

He’s the most over-hyped for no reason player that I’ve ever seen.

He does nothing basically.

He can only run one route, the go route. I question if Nuss has it in him to get the ball to Hilton with a core muse injury and IDGAF what BK says, he’s still obviously playing hurt. Hilton has such crazy speed and it’s wasted pretty much. I think with Anderson out that Zavion Thomas is featured more. He’s really played his arse off this year. Still waiting for Nic Anderson to make an impact.

We may be waiting all year for that. Any deep threat WR on this team is practically useless with Nuss at QB.

He’s too soft for the SEC unfortunately.

I’ve watched him contend for balls and he is always looking for a flag rather than trying to make a play.

You mean like how he blew by an Ole Miss DB by 5 yards & Nuss severely underthrew him? That Ole Miss DB was burnt toast & that should have been an easy 6.

Or how about the numerous deep out routes he's run this season & been open yet Nuss hasn't even attempted to make throws because he hasn't his "fastball" so far this season.

It's why Hilton hasn't produced numbers. Everything Hilton does well, go routes, deep out routes, deep post, skinny posts, Nuss simply hasn't had the ability to push the ball downfield & make those throws. Nuss has hardly even attempted them because he's been limited in the throws that he can make.

I remember him smoking some SEC DBs in this game.
