"Coach, does your team deserve to be #×?"

Day: Yes, we've played to toughest schedule. We deserve #1.

CEO: We don't care about that. It doesn't matter who they tell us to play or where they tell us to play, we're ready.

"You've had a great season. Have you done enough to desrve the Heisman?"

Young: Yes, I'm the best player in the country. I deserve it.

Burrow: That's for other people to decide. I just want to help my teammates win a championship.

Man, isn't it great to be lead by men who love the game and not themselves. Love my Tigers!!!!

well, I would argue that these men are thought well and know what to say.

not saying burrow doesnt believe what he says, but you would be an idiot to say he doesnt want the heisman and believes he deserves it

this does show another reason to choose lsu over a clemson, however.

The committee probably wasn’t swayed by those comments but the court of public opinion definitely was. One coach (really 2) came across whiny and entitled and the other looking like a champ. Bonus is that O (or any Tiger for that matter) didn’t give any bulletin board material to OU.

As much as I'd like to see a Burrow/OSU matchup, I want Clemson to stomp the dog-shite out of OSU so bad as to make them drop out of final standings.

Not sure why people believe Clemson is going to destroy anyone. How can we tell when they literally haven't played any team worth a crap, except for A&M and Wake.

I think Ohio State and Clemson are pretty evenly matched. That's gonna be a really fun game to watch.

Personally, I'd like for Clemson to get it's arse whipped. I live near a ton of Clemson fans and they are insufferable. They were that way before Dabo. They have just taken it to another level the last few years.

Clemson was ranked on reputation. Not resume. No one knows what they really have. Probably very good. But not tested at all.

They won the title last year and haven’t lost a game since. They have a 28 game winning streak.

Dabo is whiny, but Clemson being No 3 in this instance is unprecedented so he’s right to play the disrespect card IMO, even if the way he plays it is annoying AF

Comparing one year to the next in college football is silly bc of losing players to NFL draft. They have replaced their entire DL and all were relatively high draft picks. That is a BIG DEAL.

You don't get credit for prior season wins.

Clemson grad here. There is no denying that our competition is weak this year, but that is not our fault. We just play who is put in front of us. Remember over the past several years when great teams were put in front of us, we did pretty good. Alabama(twice), Auburn(twice),LSU, Texas A&M(twice), South Carolina(just kidding), Ohio State( thrice), Oklahoma
Notre Dame, etc. So come on guys give us a break.
Don't get me wrong, I love your coach and if we can't get the batty, then I hope you do. I have strong history wit N.O.. Many great evenings at La Casa de la marina and Frankie and Johnnies.

Don’t let this vocal minority sway you. Clemson is well respected for good reason.

Thank you my friend. Rest assured that I will be pulling for you and your Tigers to make the Championship game. If we do the same, I will be
there. Staying at the Roosevelt(sp)
I have little doubt that the near future belongs to these two Tigers. Without a doubt, we have the two
most likeable head coaches and as such both will have recruiting classes off the charts. So long Alabama and Georgia, hello LSU and Clemson.
