The defense plays when it has to or needs to
No game has been in jeopardy

True but what about that defense?

Would hold Penn State and their back up QB to fewer points than OSU did.

One graphic listed OSU's quality wins and had Michigan State on the list. They have a losing record!

Baylor could find themselves in the cat bird seat if they win out.

Do you know what the scores would be if the teams were reversed? You’d have three losses.

This is straight politics and agenda. The committee can spin whatever they want out of this because they control the rankings.

Its simple, they want to avoid #1 LSU vs #4 Alabama. They drop LSU to #2 now so they can get ahead of it two weeks early. Then once Oklahoma wins out and LSU beats UGA, they can swap LSU back to #1 and OU or Utah to #4.

Otherwise, LSU will be staying at #2 if Alabama jumps into that #4 spot.

This is spot on! If they HAVE to put Bama back in it, they want to avoid them playing LSU in the semifinals.

Yeah we are playing teams with both O’s and D’s.

And don’t tout Cincinnati as a good win, they’d be the 5th or 6th best win on our schedule.

Those 3 teams OSU beat couldn't beat the 3 LSU beat so get the frick out of here bitch. LSU would bitch whip those 3 big 10 teams and maybe worse.

Over rated OU beating other over rated Big 10 teams. No surprise.
Call me crazy but how many Never Trumpers, like the ho from ASU, and all the bitches from Ohio, are on the committee, voting against any a team from a red state.
Conspiracy.

It’s obvious that he is the turning point in the room... when Oregon was in discussion for top 6, he had to leave room... LSU was 1. He returns after being out the last 2 weeks... OSU is 1. We know who the swing voter is, especially after his idiotic comments despite the analytics being totally for LSU.

They will lose Cincinnati as a Top 20 win this week when Memphis destroys them.

Cincy barely beat Temple (by 2), East Carolina(3), South Florida(3), UCF(3), and UCLA in week 1 that was horrible for the first half of the season (1-5).

How in the hell is Cincinnati ranked #18?

Since there are no set guidelines, the committee just picks who they want and can justify it any way they need to. by saying schedule, best wins, best losses, eye test, conference champs, etc. Theres always a case to be made for whoever they want in. This is why we need the computers back. Take out the human bias again and set some legit criteria that we can all know going in.
