A lot of things that happened in this tournament were with a regional in mind .

Still is aggravating none the less

We clearly weren’t playing to win this tournament and that’s fine. Now the real pressure turns on. No more excuses for Jay. It’s put up or shut up time from here on out.

What regional? Like pacific northwest? Florida panhandle? West Texas?

Taking your one and two starters out with pitch counts in the 80’s for one.

I see the excuse machine is getting revved up for post season play.

Pulling your top two starters in games that were tied or that you were leading when they could have easily pitched longer.

Sitting the nation’s RBI leader for a “day of rest” where that wouldn’t be an option in a regional

You know, stuff like that

No they weren’t idiot. If it was regional based then why bring in Coleman and Guidry. If you bring them in first we’re playing tomorrow.

Oh you know then why not just sit Dugas and Crews too? Especially fricking Dugas, ya know who hasn’t done shite in like a month. Two of the biggest guys slumping. Or Morgan who’s clearly been hurt several times this year.

Maybe I’m falling off my rocker here but when has it ever been ok to lose?

That’s how a lot of fans deal with it. If we are not winning we aren’t really trying. It’s kind of like when a top recruit in football chooses another school and they say he was processed or we did not want them.

You can clearly tell the generations of fanbases by the responses. It’s mind-blowing people accept folding the tent like we just did. It’s pathetic.

Sigh.

We weren’t playing to lose, we just weren’t going to do anything special with a nation seed locked up.

Skenes would have stayed in yesterday without a doubt if it was a regional or higher. We’re you as upset when he was pulled?

I can't imagine anyone upset about the Skenes decision. But if White wasn't hurt why didn't he play?

I'll wait to see how he manages the regional and super. I agree that he coaches the long game alot, looking ahead to what may come our way. More or less, he's trying to get every player ready for different situations. But, at some point, you just have to get out the way and manage what's very clear in front of you.

There has to be more to Tanks not playing. Either a minor injury or a disciplinary reason. Maybe he spent half the night in the strip club

I certainly hope he isn't hurt but you mean to tell me White needs "rest?"
