You think the majority of people think the pitching in the ACC is better than or as good as the SEC?

I just went and looked. He hit over .300 in acc play. He hit homers off of
Jared poland
Bryce hubbart
Rhett lowder
Brandon schaeffer
Carson palmquist twice

Those are all 1s or 2s for acc teams and legit guys that can pitch in the the sec. alot of them will be drafted pretty high too

I can't believe we got the baddest freshman slugger in CBB history from the portal. Hats off to CJJ. I said at the beginning of the year he'd win multiple natty's here, really starting to see just how committed he is to laying the foundation necessary for that level of success. Crazy thing is, the same could be said for Kelly and McMahon. Mulkey goes without saying. Awesome time to be a TIGER.

Huge get. It adds to a crowded group of poor fielding DH types but he could very well be the best of the group

Don't get too excited. He is coming here to see if he can make it to the next level.

Since he was the top bat in the draft class last year and has incredible hands and he hit .362 as a true freshman, I’m gonna go with he will adjust and still be very very successful

Put Evansville & Quinnipiac on LSUs NC schedule for next spring.

When’s the last time an SEC player hit 3 HRs in a game against a national seed? I know Miami laid an egg in regional, but weren’t they top 5 in the nation?

What else do you expect from the kid?

Anybody seen anymore about this kid when he was at NCST? Seemed like he had 15 HR in 10 games but then fell off. Seeing more breaking pitches and less fastballs?

He hit .362. If that’s falling off, I’ll take it

I know he was rated as highly as 18th overall in last years class and was viewed by many scouts as the top bat in the draft class last year

You don’t hit .362 as a true freshman if you’re a beer league softball player who just hits home runs or strikeouts

Relax. Jay got the best bat available. Be happy

He doesn’t let you jam him inside, go watch that tape. You think the book is out on him and he just casually hit .362 with 27 bombs? Lmao clown shite

Gonna be even more fun watching Hurd, Tebrake, and Little mow down the opposition.
