May have been the difference this year in 3-5 games. That was IMO devastating not having him available this year.

Yeah. Beck being injured and Hill going down has cost us a handful of games.

Definitely--that hurt.

Beck's Prime: > Edwards, >> Fontenot, >>> the rest.

He doesn’t bat, so I don’t think he would of helped the offense.

I agree. This team walks enough batters at bad times as it is. He wouldn't really help much unfortunately.

With the idiotic tendencies regarding bull pen usage, I doubt Beck would have made a meaningful difference.

Beck wasn’t even supposed to be on this team so to use his loss as an excuse for Paul is bullshite.

You can frick right off with that shite take. He’s been a great relief pitcher during his time here.

Beck gave up 0 earned runs (ZERO) in seven appearances last year. One run overall.

Just saying

Beck’s ERA is misleading because most of the runs that scored when he entered games were inherited runners. Throughout his career here he’s had a bad habit of allowing those inherited runners to score. But I do think he would’ve added value to this bull pen; because he brings a lot of experience to the table.

I don’t know. I don’t remember Beck having very many stress-free outings

That's not how ERA works. Those runners don't count against his ERA.

I realize that. What I am trying to say is that his ERA doesn’t paint the picture of some of his past ineffectiveness of stranding inherited runners.
